16) new home

The sun is shining through the windows near me, I roll over in the hospital bed, thinking I'm about to fall out but, a strong arm holds me, stopping me from falling. Comfused, I open my eyes, and see that Derek River is laying in the bed with me.

I slowly grabbed his arm and moved it away from my waist, I quietly get out of bed and head to the backroom, where there is a large mirror on the wall, with a toilet and shower. I close the door quietly, looking back at the mirror I take off my shirt, I see the scars on my body, the first one I notice is the on over my left eye. The next one was on my right arm it's not deep so that doesn't hurt. Unlike my stomach and leg. I take my bandages off, and see that my stomach isn't healed yet, I move my hand over my stomach, as I did this I had flashes of yesterday in my head, he stabbed me and I stabbed him, I laughed slightly, because I did worse to him I killed him. I covered my wounds back up and put my shirt on, washing my face. I walk out of the back room, noticing that Derek was sitting on the edge of the bed watching me. "You wasn't in bed, I was worried" he said quietly, "sorry I didn't want to wake you up" I apologise as I looked away.

I head him get off the bed and walk towards me, he goes to touch my hand but I move mine away.  "Derek, I'm sorry. But I shouldn't be doing this, I get that your supose to be my mate and all but, I just killed my boyfriend because he bite me and lied to me. And now people are after me for who knows why, and yet I still don't know what or who I am. As much as I want to just lay back In that bed with you, and trust me that's all that Forest wants right now, but I can't im sorry" I speak honestly as I look out the windows.

Without a word he wraps his arms around my shoulders bringing me closer to him. "Don't be sorry, I understand. You've taken in a lot in these passed 2 days, you need the rest and to understand this new life. Tell me what you want, anything and it's yours" he promises me, as he lifts my eyes to meet his. My breath stops in my throat for a second as I look into his eyes. "I need to get out of this place, it's driving me mad" I say as I watch him, feeling my heart race, a smile plays on his lips, "sure thing little wolf." I couldnt help but smile at that nickname, we stay there for a while, before he clears his throat. "I'll go and get the doctor to check you out of this hospital" he says softly as he brings me over to sit on the bed. "Wait here" he tells me before be walks out of the room and closes that door behind him.

I take a deep breath, what are we going to do now. I asked forest, I don't know girl, there's so much that has happened, but I promise you as long as Derek is with us, everything will be ok forest tries to comfort me. I get that you feel this certain way about him, but I've lost a lot over my life, and kolby was there for me every step of the way. It's not gonna be easy for me to just give myself to Derek like you have. I know, I wish I could of helped you in those times of need but I wasn't awaken then. Derek will understand. I don't know how long I was talking to me wolf, but a light knock was heard on the other side of the door. I smelt Derek so I didn't worry to much, "come in" I speak, surprised that he's alone, he walks in with some clothes. "I got some clothes for you, I know that this is all hard for you but I thought that you may want someone close to you, to be here to help you out." Thats when gently kissed my hair and left out the door, and replacing him was my best friend, Stormy.

"Stormy ?! Omg your here! How? Omg!" I scream as I jump off the bed and nearly hugged the hell out of her. "Haha it's good to see you to, well to tell you the truth, im a werewolf aswell, im apart of Alpha Derek's pack. Derek told me that you needed someone you know around, so here I am. Now go get dressed so we can get out of this place, oh and don't destroy my jacket, that cost me a lot of money" she laughed as she grabbed the clothes, threw them in my arms and moved me into the other room.

I changed out of my old ripped clothes and dumped them into the bin, I slide on a pair of ripped black jeans, a red crop top, (thank the moon goddess or who ever that my stab wound is nothing but a scar now) stormys expensive jacket and a pair of black heel boots. I brush my fingers through my hair and head out into the room. "There's my badass bestie now let's go." She grabbed my hand and we walked out the room and down the hallway, where Max and Derek nearly had there bottom jaw touching the group. Stormy and I laugh as we walk past them and out the door, with the boys on our tails.

"So we're we going?" I ask Stormy but Derek answered, "Well, we're taking to you, to your new home" Derek's speaks from behind me, "well he means yours and Derek's home" I rolled my eyes as Max tells me this. "Of course" we keep walking until my ute comes into view. "Hownis my ute here?" I ask as I slowly walk towards it, I expected blood alot of it too. "I drove it to the hospital...Ben thought it be a good Idea to give it a clean" Max spoke not to sure what to say.

I only nod as I try not to think about it any more. We moved passed a large 3 story building and towards a path that leads into the woods, down the path for about 2 minutes was this small clearing in the centre of it, was this beautiful 2 story cottage, by the beautiful building runs a gorgeous river running away heading east. " this place is beautiful" I say quietly. "Well come back shortly ok Anna, we have some things we need to go" Stormy says as she hugs me and runs off with Max. "Umm ok..." I hear a quiet laugh as I notice Derek is already by the door. " Come on your room is already done" he says as I slowly walk up the stairs, I walk inside and I'm faced with the most beautiful space ever. Derek silently grabs my hand as he shows me around the house. "I know your not ready to have a room together some there's a room beside mine which is now yours" he said quietly as we stopped by my room. I took a deep breath before opening the door.

There was a large black Queen size bed laying in the middle of the room, a large walk in closet. A bathroom which I just realised joins with Derek's bathroom. "Our bathrooms join" I point out, i notice Derek scratching the back of his neck, "uh yea well, i promise not to go into the bathroom until your finished" he quickly says, imonly laugh as I shake my head. "Sure sure" I say as I notice the bed side table empty but there is one photo, I say down on the bed as grabbed the photo, it was the photo of my parents. "Where did you get this from?" I asked as I move my fingers over the photo. "Well i  had seen that photo, in your bedroom, and thought it would be a good idea to have something close" he tells me as he sits beside me. I couldnt help but feel safe and so calm beside him, I took a deep breath as I rested my head on his shoulder.

He wrapped his arm around my back breathing in my scent. I turned around in his arms looking into his eyes I push him onto the bed "lay down" I nearly order surprised about my voice but not to worried as he moves over on the bed and I curled beside him, resting my head on his chest. "I don't know why but everything in me want to be with you to hear your voice, to smell your scent, your touch everything. But for now I just want to relax right here beside you, that's all" I say as I put my hand around his stomach and, once again. Slowly drift off to sleep. "I know, welcome home. Now get some rest, little wolf" is all I hear before I fall asleep again.
