9) cliff diving

Anna's pov*

The music is blaring loud and the bomb fire is lit and the flames are shooting to the sky.

I finish my first can within seconds as I start dancing with my girls by the fire, the night is beautiful and we're all having a blast. "Hey girl I dare you to jump off from that cliff edge!" One of the girls that stormy invited dared me. I laugh as I drink my 5th can of jack Daniels, "he'll yea, your on" I say as I take my boots and trousers off, getting many whistles and a growl?... I ignore the growl, as I start to walk the track that leads to the cliffs.

But once I was out of the view of people at the party, I was stopped dead in my tracks, when someone was standing in my way. But I couldnt see who.

"Anna, you can't go jumping off that cliff it's to dangerous and you will get hurt" a husky but beautiful voice spoke as he moved into the moonlight I could see who it was, "Derek?" I ask comfused, "what are you doing here?" I shake my head as I go to move passed him, "Anna, I know you don't know me but I don't want you to get hurt so please don't jump" Derek said in a worried voice, like he cared?

"Your right Derek, I don't know you" I say as I get past him and get to the edge of the cliff, "Fine if you jump then I'll jump" Derek said as he took his shirt off, I took a slight glimpse from the corner of my eye, and my goddess, he was beautiful in the moonlight, the light from the moon shined over his gorgeous body and his eyes....they looked as if they were glowing...so beautiful. "Like what you see?" Derek said with a smirk.

Realising I was staring I turned my head away and felt this rush and I stepped back a few steps back and ran for it. When I was at the edge of the cliff I used all my power to jump off, for a split second I was sure I was flying and the feeling of the moon and the light breeze felt amazing, and then in seconds I hit the cool yet warm water with a splash.

I move to the top of the water, and as I take a breath I see Derek land in the water beside me. When he surfaced I was amazed by just how beautiful he is. I was trapped in his gaze, that was until I hear lowed cheers from the crowd on the land. Smiling as I swam back to shore, stormy had a towel ready for me when I stepped out of the water, "girl that was amazing!" Stormy and a few girls were yelling and they handed me shots, which we all took. "Well hello there handsome" Stormy's friend said as Derek walked up to us.

I dont know why but having other girls looking at him made me angry? That's when I started to feel this feeling.... I couldnt describe it... but this feeling wasn't right....and it started to get slightly worse...at first it was just a headache, which was weird because I never get headaches ,that is until the day after a long night. But the headache started to spread... "Hey stormy, I'll be back shortly" I say not waiting for a reply, grabbing my trousers and boots I quickly chuck them on before heading into the forest.

Derek's pov*
She was standing there, so beautiful in the moonlight, claim her hunter all but yelled at me, no fucking way not like this not yet I yell at him as I realise she's watching me, I see her cheeks redden as I catch her staring, "like what you see?" I say with a smirk.

After I watch her jump, my heart skips a beat as I could see she was going to hit the rocks, but she missed them with easy. Wow she's something, I think to myself and I jump landing right beside her. I could help but watch her once I emerge from the water, like bloody hell can this girl get any cuter!

She starts to swim away so I following her, noticing something is off, something isn't right I look around and I couldnt find anything, that was until I look back at Anna. I can smell her scent changing? She takes a shot and goes and change, "hey stormy, I'll be back shortly" She told her friend and left walking towards the forest. After drying off
I slowly follow her to make sure she's OK.
