MARIA GEORGE was continuing her great grandmothers legacy, on a lower scale. While, her great grandmother had stole Diana Ross's man, Maria had stolen Rachel's. She was sure Granny Dee was somewhere smiling looking down on her life and how it was going. And ever since her performance of Chain Reaction, Maria had a new obsession, serenading Rachel's man right infront of her: All For You, Genie In A Bottle, He Said She Said, My Little Secret. Maria was eating it up, she loved it, she thrived on it. That's why she couldn't wait to discover the theme of the week - and adapt it in a way in which she could serenade Rachel's boyfriend.

"Okay, guys, listen up. This is Mr. Ryan. He's a member of the school board, and he would like to say a few words. I-I just want you guys to listen critically and know that what he's saying is just one of many opinions." Schuester announced.

"Take out a piece of paper. And on that paper, I want you to write down your biggest dream. A dream that means so much, you're afraid to admit it even to yourself." Mr Ryan explained. Maria wrote "Belle in Beauty and the Beast on Broadway or Fanny Brice in Funny Girl - something to make Rachel miserable" on her piece of paper.

"That's cold and slightly evil." Kurt pointed out, reading Maria's dream over her shoulder.

"She's cold as ice, Kurt." Rachel commented.

"I'm sorry? When were you invited to this conversation?" Maria asked.

"Maria. Rachel." Schue said.

"What did you put?" both Santana and Jesse whispered to Maria. Maria passed her paper to the two of them. And for the record, they both laughed.

"Your dream is never going to happen. Ninety one percent of you will spend your entire lives living in Allen County, Ohio. So unless you wrote down that your dream was to work for a mid-market health insurance provider or find an entry level job in an elderly care facility, you're going to be very disappointed." He stated.

"You're from here, right?" Maria asked.

"Yes." He replied.

"Then how did you find your job as an entry level dickhead?" Maria began, making the club - especially Puck, Santana and Jesse - laugh "I mean, I'm sure you didn't dream of that, right?"

"Maria," Schue scolded, "raise your hand before asking a question." He continued.

"I'm going to guess that a lot of your dreams involve ✨showbiz✨. Well, let me tell you. Showbiz dreams are the most unrealistic of them all." Mr Ryan revealed, trying to distract from his many life failures.

"But... that's what I want to do with my life." Tina stated, sadly.

"Oh, look, I'm not trying to hurt your feelings, I'm just trying to spare you disappointment." Mr Ryan stated.

"I think we get your point." Schue suggested.

"Aw, well, Schuester here's a prime example. He used to have that glimmer of hope in his eyes that I can see right now in all of yours. But he couldn't make it happen for himself, so he now has to try and convince you all that it will happen for you. Guess what? His dream didn't work out. And neither will yours." Mr Ryan explained.
