Lancelot receives answers for who he used to be and the question of his fate is sealed.
Lancelot and Adrian took the reins of their horses and started to walk on foot whilst the rest disappeared on their mounts into the distance. The Sunborn waited to speak until they were out of the camp from listening ears and Lancelot did not seem to be minding the silence.
"You have many questions..." Adrian mused, his eyes watching down at the one who cries though the grey hood somewhat obscured his view.
Lancelot didn't even know where to begin, many was an understatement. He swallowed down the lump of nerves lodged in his throat and started with something simple, "How did you know my name? You called me 'Lancelot' by the river?" The fingers he had gripping around Goliath's reins seemed to wrap tighter around the leather in anticipation of the answer.
Adrian sighed as the long but not forgotten memories came back to him. He lifted his golden eyes up to the trail in which they were walking along.
"I knew your father well," his smooth voice dipped, "your real father." There was something in him which sounded like sadness, as if he were barely just hanging on to the man he remembers.
Lancelot's head picked up and his face turned to the man without thought. He knew that the Sunborn had seen him since he was a child but he had never expected-
"My uncle was our King at that time. I was one of the nobles in the court alongside your father, Ban," the elder explained as they carried on walking, horses trailing at their sides.
Lancelot's eyes widened with a stinging behind the surface, his face subconsciously turning further out of the confines of his hood. If Adrian knew Ban and he himself had also been to court that meant-
"I knew you too, Lancelot."
