"STOP!!!!!" I yelled.
*wakes up*
"STOP!" I yelled as i shot up from a hospital bed. "Just a dream." I reassured myself. As I was about to go back to sleep, Nurse Joy came in. "You are free to go!" She said cheerfully. "Oh thank Arceus." I said.
Timeskip to after discharge.
We decided to head to the next town so I could battle the Normal-Type gym leader, Falkner. I had a feeling he was going to be easy prey.
"Ian, look." Emilia said as she pointed over to a familiar Fighting-Type Pokémon. A Hitmonchan.
"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked him.
"Chan-Hitmonchan!" Hitmonchan answered. "You were abandoned by your trainer, well you can join me!" I said enthusiastically. "Hitmon-Chan!" Hitmonchan said as he punched the button of the Poké Ball.
Shake, Shake, Shake, Ding!
"Alright! I caught a Hitmonchan!" I said happily.
"Why don't we have a battle?" Emilia asked. "You're on!" I said.
"This will be a battle using however many Pokémon you want, the winner is decided when the other's pokémon are unable to continue! Battle begin!" Nim called.
"Hitmonchan! You ready?" I asked as i threw the Poké Ball. "Hitmon-Chan!" Hitmonchan said as he raised his fists. "Quilava! Time to battle!" Emilia called. "Quil-Quilava!" Quilava said. "Use Flare Blitz!" Emilia ordered. "Close Combat!" I called as Hitmonchan threw many powerful punches at Quilava. "Ember!" Emilia shouted as Quilava blasted a ball of fire. "Send it back with Counter!" I called as Hitmonchan's fist glew a bright blue color as he punched the fireball, sending it back. "Now! Power-Up-Punch!" I called to finish it.
