the journey starts today!
We decided to camp in the fields for a few days before heading to Goldenrod City. But little did I know, on the day of the Gojira Festival, Godzilla completely decimated Goldenrod City, as well as the Goldenrod Harbor.
"Gee Ian, no wild Pokémon have come out at all." Emilia said.
Suddenly, the ground began to shake violently in a footstep pattern.
"Take cover in that cave!" I said. "Run!" I yelled as we bolted for the cave.
As we got inside, we looked out to see a sight of pure horror.

"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!" A familiar roar echoed through the valley.
We saw a massive blue beam of energy rush past the mountain and destroy everything in its path. The beast then finished with a roar, and stomped away.
"What the hell was that thing?!" Nim asked.
"That, was Godzilla, a legendary pokémon that protects the natural earth." I explained.
"So, he'll kill mass populations of people?" Emilia asked. "I'm not sure yet, but there's a worldwide military organization that deals with this kind of stuff." I answered. "What's the name?" Dax asked. "The Monarch Corporation." I answered.
The next morning.
I woke up to the sound of a helicopter landibg nearby, than I heard voices speaking. "Don't move!"
"Charizard! Flamethrower!" I ordered.
"RRRZARD!" Charizard roared as it blasted the flames.

"Everyone! Get on!" I yelled to my friends as they hopped onto Charizard's back as we flew away.
As we flew, i looked down to see a sight of terror.

"How tall is Godzilla?" Emilia asked in fear. "He's 393 feet tall." I answered.
"There's gotta be a reason behind him attacking people." Nim said. "Okay Bill Nye, nobody asked." I replied sarcastically.
Timeskip to arrival at Goldenrod City.
"Oh...my...Arceus!" Emilia yelled as she saw the completely decimated city.
"It's gonna go way south." Dax said.
"Guess the Goldenrod City gym leader's dead." I said as i looked on the news with my Pokégear.
The headline read as follows:
Giant pokémon destroys Goldenrod City, leaving thousands, including the gym leader dead.
"Damn." I said, disappointed that i couldn't have my battle.
