Your parents were gone. You didn't even get a chance to see them before they left. Maybe it was better that way. Had you seen them you can almost guarantee that you would have called this whole thing off.

Getting into the house wasn't that hard. You still had your key on you. Which was convenient to say the least. You aren't breaking in. Yoongi wanted to break a window but Jimin nor you were too fond of the idea. Someone could hear. Not only that but it's like shining a red neon light to your parents that says 'look at me I was here and you can't have that either. You let out a small breath as you opened the front door. Everything looks the same. Smells the same. Only your parents are gone and soon enough you will be too. As much as you wish there were some way for you to get out of this, there isn't. The thought is painful but you push it away. Now isn't the time for crying no matter how much you want to break down and sob.

"What all do you think you can grab without making it obvious?" Jimin asks you while looking around the room.

"I'm not sure. Just some clothes. Spare toiletries maybe a blanket and pillow" you reply with a frown creasing your features.

Your stomach lurches the moment you take your first step onto the stairs. The boys both follow you up, as you make it to your doorway you turn around and look at both of them.

"Jimin can you go to my bathroom and grab most of my things? It's just down the hall"

He nods his head and turns around to walk back the way you came. Once you see he found the right door you open up yours and almost immediately the tears come. You take a moment to sit on your bed and breathe in the strong scent of vanilla on your bedsheets. You look at all of the pictures on your wall, of your friends, your parents. You. Who would have thought that leaving a place you didn't even care much for in the first place would be so god damn hard?

Yoongi sits down next to you and wraps his arm around your shoulder. You stiffen at his touch but welcome it all the same.

"You're gonna be okay" he says in a reassuring tone. "I know things for you are hard right now and I'm sure you're confused but we don't have much time" You nod your head and look into his eyes. He stares back at you and you both just sit like that. Looking at one another for a few long heartbeats. He smiles softly and moves a stray hair from your face.

"Lets start packing okay?" He says once he notices your tears drying. You sit your head against his chest and can hear the erratic beat of his heart under your ear. His entire upper body clenches up at the contact but he doesn't remove his arm from around you.

"Thank you" You mumble into his hoodie. "For helping me"

He nods his head and shifts away from you to stand. Holding a hand out to you he smiles.

"A friend of Jimin's is a friend of mine" he replies quietly his eyes never leaving yours.

You had some trouble connecting with Yoongi at dinner that night at the restaurant. He seemed cold and detached from the world. From himself. So seeing him in a small moment of weakness where he let you in and took his wall down was really nice to see. You had worried for a while that the boy didn't like you.

"I thought you didn't consider me a friend though" You joke, pushing on his shoulder a little. He smiles at first but then looks away and shoves his hands into his pants pockets. Rocking back on his heel he doesn't look at you but says "I think the problem here is that I fancy you more than you realize" his voice is quiet and deep as he says this, eyes traveling around the room to eventually look back into yours. His gaze on you is hard. Icy. But masked behind that ice you can see the warmth. Almost feel it in the air. It could take your breath away.
