Chapter 4

You and your friends walk into your house.
"ahhh y/n i'm so glad you're home, have you made a decision about the audition in Toronto??"
"yeah mom i did, i decided to go. Kelly and Abby are here to help me get ready because i need to catch a flight tomorrow to get to Toronto on time" you explain.
"if you need anything from me feel free to ask, i'll help in any way i can" your mom says.
"thank you mom, we'll be upstairs for now."

You, Abby, and Kelly walk up to your room.
You let Abby and Kelly go through your clothes as they pick out outfits for you.
"hmm this should go with, uh nah, how about? nooo that doesn't work, hmmmm, this one? waittttt waittttt THIS IS THE ONE" Abby said to herself.
"okay y/n go try this outfit on" she said handing you some clothes.
"while you try that one on we'll put more outfits together for you" Kelly said.
You walk into your bathroom to try on the outfit Abby picked, it was very simple and you liked it that way.

You walked out of the bathroom.
"ouuuuu that's cuteeee y/n!!" Kelly said.
"hmmmm" Abby said examining the outfit she picked for you. "the outfit looks really cute but i feel like we should go with something a little darker for the audition, you can bring that outfit and wear it another time... here try this one on" she said giving you a new outfit.
You go into into the bathroom to try on another outfit Abby picked for you, you really like this one too.

You walk out of the bathroom.
"ahhhh i love it it's so cuteee" Kelly exclaimed.
"well it is super cute and you should bring it but it's not quite audition worthy you know? go try this one on" she says handing you another outfit.
This repeats quite a few times until you walk out and you hear...
"PERFECT, this is the one!! this is your audition outfit" Abby yelled.
"oh my gosh yessssss it's so cuteeee!!!" Kelly said.
You really liked this outfit so you were happy when they both agreed that this was the outfit you should wear to the audition.
"yesss i love it!!" you exclaimed while showing it off to your friends.
"okay now we gotta get all the outfits you tried on into your bag to wear a different day while you're in toronto, and if you get the part me and Kelly will fly down there for a weekend and help you buy more outfits" Abby said.
"that's such a good idea!!" Kelly says.
You Abby and Kelly finished packing your bags for your week in Toronto.

"hey guys do you think you could help me read through the script" you ask your friends.
"yesss that sounds fun" Kelly said
"of course" Abby said.
You read through your lines with your friends and you lost track of the time, then your mom came into your room.
"y/n sweetie, your flight is at 3 pm tomorrow so i want you up and ready by 12, which means you gotta get some sleep" she gestured to to clock.
*whoa it's 1:46 am already!?!*
"oh i didn't even realize it was that late, i gotta get some sleep, maybe you guys could stay the night though so you can see me off tomorrow" i suggested.
"yeah i'd love that" Abby said.
You and Abby looked over at Kelly to see her sleeping.
"well i guess we know Kelly's answer" you say while chuckling.
"goodnight sweetie sleep well" your mom said.
"goodnight mom"

At the airport

"Flight 306 to Toronto now boarding"

You take a deep breath.
"hey you'll be fine y/n" Kelly said.
"yeah you got this bebs" Abby added.
You take another deep breath.
"yeah i got this" you say to yourself.
"call us when you land sweetie" your mom said.
"i will, thank you guys for helping me out with this, you're the best" you bring them in for a hug.

"Last call for flight 306 to Toronto"

You released from the hug.
"i'll miss you guys" you said as you got on the plane.
You made your way to your seat, you were seated right next to a boy that was about your age.
*This can go one of 2 ways you thought to yourself, it'll either be really awkward, or it'll be great and you'll be leaving with a friend. Please be the 2nd one, please be the 2nd one, pleaseeeeee don't be awkward*
"heyyy, i'm y/n" you say as you sat in your seat.
"oh hey y/n i'm Dante"
"nice to meet you Dante"
"nice to meet you too"
"so do you live here?" you ask him trying to make conversation.
"no, i was actually visiting my grandparents" he explained.
"oh nice, so you live in Toronto?"
"also no" he chuckled "my grandparents are sending me there for an audition."
"that's so cool, i'm going to Toronto for an audition too!"
"oh really?? what are you auditioning for?" he asked with genuine curiosity.
"The Umbrella Academy" you replied.
"no wayyyyy! i'm also auditioning for The Umbrella Academy!" he said excitedly.
"wait really?! who are you auditioning for?"
"young Klaus! who are you auditioning for??"
"young Vanya!!"
"well y/n i really hope you get the part"
"same to you Dante, it would be fun to work with you"
"so tell me a little bit about yourself" Dante said trying to keep the conversation going.

You guys talked the whole plane ride and when you got off the plane you guys got a hotel room together because you didn't want to stay alone. (don't worry it's not weird like that they're just friends and they clicked as friends).
The hotel was right across the street from the set of TUA.
"was there anything you wanted to do in Toronto before the audition?" you asked Dante.
"i mostly just wanted to do some touring"
"alright let's get settled in and then tomorrow morning we can go tour a few places"
"sounds good to me" he says as he throws his bag onto the bed.
The two of you sat down on your beds watching Grey's Anatomy and after watching a few episodes you passed out.
