Chapter 6

The next morning you wake up and look at the time.
You quickly wake up Dante.
"Dante get up! we have to get ready for our audition"
He shot up quickly.
"oh shoot did i oversleep?!" he asked in a panic.
"no no you're fine" you say trying to calm him down "i was waking you up to make sure you DIDN'T oversleep."
"ohhhh thank you" he said with a sigh of relief.
"we should be getting ready though because we don't want to be late."
"i call first dibs on the shower" he yelled as he ran to the bathroom.
You rolled your eyes and searched through your bag for the outfit Abby picked out for you.
Once you had it set out you wait for Dante to finish up so you could take a shower.
You walk over to the bathroom and pound on the door.
"DANTE, HURRY UP!!" you yell.
"CHILL IM WASHING MY HAIR" he yelled back.
"WELL HURRY BECAUSE I NEED ENOUGH TIME TO SHOWER TOO."
"IM ALMOST DONE."
You sit down on your bed waiting for Dante to finish.
Once he walks out of the bathroom you rush in there as fast as you can.
"geez slow down y/n you have enough time" Dante explained.
You ignore his comment and rush into the shower.
After you finish your shower you dry your hair, put some makeup on, and put your outfit on.
"okay we should probably head over to the set now" Dante explained.
"that's a good idea" you agree.

The two of you head over to the set and make your way to the waiting room.
You sit there with Dante going over your lines in your head.
"you nervous?" he asks looking over at your bouncing leg.
"is it that obvious?" you ask with a nervous chuckle.
"y/n you act like you've never been to audition before."
"well unless high school plays count, i haven't."
"this is your first real audition?!" he asks surprised.
"yeah" you say getting more nervous by Dante's comments.
"okay, here's a tip, other than the acting from the script, you need to act like you're not nervous, because if you show you're nervous you'll never have a chance."
You take a deep breath.
"yeah you're right" you say trying to shake away the nervousness "i am no longer y/n i am young Vanya" you say boosting your confidence.
"exactly! you got this" Dante says.
"thank you Dante" you say.
"ah- Vanya, i'm Klaus not Dante."
"oh yes, my mistake Klaus" you say with a chuckle.

"Dante Albidone"

"ahh i'm up" he says patting his legs.
"good luck- uh i mean break a leg?"
He lets out a soft chuckle.
"thank you" he says while walking away.
You sit there with anticipation built up inside of you.
You repeat your lines over and over in your head.
"I am young Vanya, Vanya Hargreeves" you say to yourself.

Time passes and you see Dante walk out.
"Dante! how did you do??" you ask eagerly.
"i'm pretty sure i killed it in there, they said they'll get back to me in a week."
"ahhhh i'm so proud!!" you say while excitedly hitting him.

"y/n y/l/n"

You hear your name and your heart drops.
"that's me, i'm up" you say looking at Dante.
"you're gonna do amazing, now go dominate in there!!" he says with an encouraging tone.
"ahh thank you" you say while walking away.

"Hi my name is y/n y/l/n and i'm auditioning for the role of young Vanya" you say with confidence.
You begin your audition and the people watching you kept writing stuff and whispering.
You tried your best to ignore the whispering and you kept going.
You finished your audition and the people watching you spoke to you.
"y/n that was amazing in almost every way, your acting was perfect, you showed the precise amount of emotion, and it felt so genuine, but we have a lot of things to discuss before we can tell you anything, we'll get back to you in about a week" a man said.
"okay thank you" you said as you turned around and walked away.

Dante sees you coming back.
"sooo how did it go??" Dante asks eagerly.
"well, they said i did amazing and they'd get back to me in a week!" you say.
"ahhhh a week can't come fast enough" Dante exclaimed.
