Chapter 23

Filming went by and Aidan didn't talk to you at all.

A few days went by and he still wasn't talking to you.

It was now Wednesday and you'd had enough, you were about to break, your best friend since birth is ignoring you for no reason and it was hurting you.

You went into filming at sat right by Aidan.
"hey!" you say.
"hey" he answers without looking at you.
"um, why have you been ignoring me?"
"i'm not."
"Aidan i'm not stupid."
"i have to go."
He gets up and walks out of set.
You get up and run after him.
"Aidan stop!"
He doesn't stop.
You grab his wrist and he turns around and looks at you.
"Aidan you've been so distant lately, why?" you say with tears forming in your eyes.
"i have to be" he says while looking down.
"no you don't! there's no reason you have to be."
"you don't understand y/n!!" he raises his voice.
"then help me understand Aidan!!" you say while tears are dripping down your face.
"IM IN LOVE WITH YOU!" he shouts. "gosh y/n, i've been in love with you since before i even knew what love was. i've been wanting to tell you forever but i couldn't because i'm just a best friend to you. after i kissed you i felt a spark and i so badly wanted to talk to you about it, but then i saw you kiss Cameron and i knew i was too late. you see, the only way i can possibly get over you is to distance myself from you, because the more i'm around you the more i fall in love with you!!" Aidan shouts with tears forming in his eyes.
"Aidan-"
"i gotta go" he pulls his wrist out of your hands and walks away.

You watched him walk away with tears falling down your face.

You turn around and see Cameron, he turns around and walks away.
"Cameron!!" you yell.
He doesn't respond.

Breaking down to the point where you could barely breathe you ran into the bathroom to hide from everyone.

"y/n?" you hear a voice say.
It was Eden.
"y/n are you okay??" she runs over to you.
"no" you could barely manage to say.
"aww oh no it's okay don't cry" she says while bringing you in for a hug.

Once you calm down Eden asks you what's wrong.
"Aidan, he- he told me he loved me, and Cameron saw the whole thing."
"what did you say to Aidan?"
"he never gave me the chance to say anything."
"well i see it's come down to a choice, who do you love?"
"i love.... Aidan. he's been there since the start, he was always there for me, and when we kissed, i- i felt a spark and i guess he felt it too. whenever he holds me in his arms i feel so safe, like it's where i belong..... oh my gosh... i love Aidan. how could i be so stupid. in not realizing i loved him i ended up hurting him."
"and Cameron?"
"he's so sweet but.. i don't love him like that.... and now since i didn't realize it i'm going to end up hurting him" you say as you put your face into your hands.
"it'll all be okay" Eden says as she puts her arm around you "you'll figure this out."
"i need to step outside. thanks for everything Eden."
"anytime y/n."

You walk outside to get fresh air and Cameron walks over to you.
"Cameron, i-"
"y/n. don't talk, i need you to listen to me. can you do that?"
You nod your head.
"when i first met you i knew there was something about you, you were so special and amazing that all i wanted was to be with you, i never took any time to get to know you or learn anything, being around you i've noticed a lot of things that i hadn't noticed before, and not just about you but about Aidan too. all i wanted at the time was to be with you but all i want now is what's best for you and what will make you happy, and as much as i like you, i know i'm not the one, i've known for a while that was the case but i chose to ignore it and now i may have messed things up between you and Aidan and i'm really sorry."
"Cameron, i'm so sorry about everything, i didn't mean for any of this to happen."
"it's okay, and now that i know the truth, i hope everything works out between you and Aidan, go get him. i'll see you around y/n" he says as he turns around and walks away.
