Please remember, this is a cobra Kai AU, where Ali and Johnny kept in touch their whole lives, Kreese leaves when he's actually supposed to, the kids are in junior year, and there is still a less violent, but very real rivalry between Miyagi-do and Cobra Kai.
——- She had everything planned out except for this. When she would leave, what she was going to take with her, what kind of transportation she would use, but now, standing outside of all of these apartments, Wren was a bit lost.
It was definitely the first floor, she remembered that from the last time she visited three years ago, but she just couldn't remember which apartment belonged to her godfather.
She stood there, looking around, and the place pretty much looked the same. Before she knew it, she found herself on the pavement, her brown eyes looking into a pair just as dark as hers.
"I am so sorry, here let me help you," the boy scrambled to his feet, extending his hand out to help the girl up. "I am so sorry again, I was rushing to get home and get ready for karate," he fixed up her things that he had knocked over.
"Oh, I'm Miguel by the way," he turned to her again, extending his hand. "oh, it's alright, thank you for helping me up, I actually do karate too, my name is-"
"Wren?"
Hand still linked with Miguel, Wren looked over to the voice to see Johnny standing there, keys in hand, looking over his sunglasses. "Surprise....?" she smiled sheepishly.
"Diaz, go change, now. As for you, put your stuff in my apartment and lock up, I will be waiting for both of you in my car. He threw Wren his keys and watched Miguel walk off as he went toward his yellow and black car.

The car ride was pretty silent beside the 80s music playing, Wren in the front seat and Miguel in the back. Johnny looked at Miguel in the mirror, "No mention of Wren to the rest of the students until I find out what she's doing here," he informed Miguel, who nodded his head. "Yes sensei," he replied quickly, looking back down at his phone.
