Sometimes, Wren really felt like her life was out of a movie. Sure, getting up for school wasn't the most glamorous thing in the world, but she had a great car, amazing friends and the most amazing boyfriend. She felt like a million dollars walking into school with her group, Hawk's arm thrown over her shoulder as they walked in front of everybody. She wasn't really sure when they had ended up the "leaders" of their little Cobra Kai group, but she wasn't actually complaining.

She'd thrown a cute outfit together for the day, as it was still pretty brisk in the mornings and didn't really warm up until the afternoons, but still nice enough to eat lunch outside

She'd thrown a cute outfit together for the day, as it was still pretty brisk in the mornings and didn't really warm up until the afternoons, but still nice enough to eat lunch outside. Her hawk necklace dangling from her neck as her, Hawk, Tory, Miguel, Aisha, Doug, and Big Red came into the halls, laughing and chatting amongst themselves as they made their way to the cafeteria.

Wren's eyes narrowed as she saw Yasmine, Moon, Ava and Sam heading toward them. Ever since their split, Sam had been right back to her mean girl friends and hanging out less with her Miyagi-do group.

"Ah, such a charming group of losers," Ava commented, a laugh coming from Yasmine. Sam stayed quiet and so did Moon. Wren's eyes were focused on Ava but Tory's eyes narrowed as she watched the way Moon looked at Hawk. She came up right behind Wren's shoulder, easily towering the other girl in her combat boots.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer," she sneered and Moon 's eyes widened, her cheeks tinting a bit pink when Hawk looked at her, averting her eyes, she stepped back a little behind Sam.

"Don't you think this," Wren started, using her hand to motion at the four girls, "is a little Mean Girls cliche? Let me guess, you're supposed to be Regina, right?"

Ava rolled her eyes, "You would think of something so childish, like this little band of freaks you have going on here."

"Freaks? That's the best you have?" Aisha questioned, jutting her thumb at Yasmine, "Did you ask your BFF what happened to her when she tried to mess with me?" Aisha smirked, thinking amusedly of the time she gave Yasmine a front wedgie after the other girl had been picking on her.

Yasmine gave Aisha a look, rolling her eyes, "Let's go Ava," Yasmine began, "I don't wanna smell like loser."

"You smell like skank bitch, not much better," Tory replied, her eyes still going between Moon and Yasmine. "Cafeterias serving nachos again today, you know Ava can't wait to get her cheese," Wren commented and she and Tory began to laugh.

Ava scoffed, looping her arm through Yasmine's as they started to walk away, Moon trailing behind them quickly, glancing over her shoulder for a moment.

"Keep looking at my best friends boyfriend and you'll be doing it with a black eye!" Tory called angrily after the brunette girl. "Seriously, what is that girls problem?" she questioned exasperated, looking at Aisha and Doug. Doug shrugged and Aisha shook her head.

Only Sam loitered behind, "Wren, can we talk?" she questioned.

"If this is about your besties over there, no," Wren commented. "Unless you want to tell us why Moon feels the need to make 'fuck me' eyes at Hawk," Tory interjected.

"Fuck, Nichols, enough, I'm not interested in her anymore, that's been long gone," Hawk finally spoke, annoyed at Torys guard dog behavior.

"No, no, it's nothing like that and to be honest, I don't know Moons problems," Sam added in.

"You guys go ahead, I'll catch up," Wren gave Hawk a kiss, waving the rest of them off until it was just her and Sam standing in the hall, she could see Hawk stopped to wait for her a little ahead from the corner of her eye.

"I just wanted to say that my break up with Robby is something I wanted to keep completely separate from the friendship we formed, and I hoped we could still be friends," Sam confessed, playing with her hands.

"I mean, that's cool and all, but I don't know how you hang out with those girls, you're not a bully, Sam," Wren referenced down the hall to where the girls had gone to the cafeteria. "I really wish you would just talk to Robby, he really misses you," Wren frowned at the thought of her best friend. She knew he was hurting about the break up still, but it didn't even seem like Sam was phased at all.

"Everybody keeps telling me to talk to him, but Cora literally won't even let me near him without yelling at me or calling me a dumb hoe or whatever combination of words she comes up with," Sam frowned as Wren gave her a look.

"Cora's a fucking menace, but just text him and set up a meet up, tell him to lie and say he's hanging out with me, I'll cover I just have to have a heads up, I know he's dying to talk to you," Wren insisted. Sam sighed, nodding her head and stepping forward to hug Wren.

"Thanks Wren, don't ever change."

Wren hugged her girl, rubbing her back a bit before letting go. "Let me know how it goes," she informed Sam before she walked away, heading down the hall to Hawk and taking his hand as they walked to lunch.

"What was all that about?" he questioned curiously, kissing Wren's head before they headed toward the cafeteria. "Robby, of course. Coras acting like a psycho and won't let Sam near him," she scoffed.

"Speaking of psycho, what's with guard dog Tory, it's like she has no trust in me," Hawk commented bitterly. Wren squeezed his hand reassuringly, "She's just overprotective of us is all, and I have full trust in you, that's all that should matter," Wren smiled up at him.

"I appreciate that, you know I do more than anything, and I'm happy with you, happier I ever was with Moon, we were toxic," Hawk insisted, squeezing Wren's hand back. "You're the only one I have my eyes on, I promise."

"I believe you, you don't even pay her any mind and honestly, that's why neither do I, she'll take the hint eventually," Wren shrugged. She had complete trust in Hawk, their relationship was stronger than ever.

"I love you," Hawk replied, grinning down at his girlfriend. He paused in the hallway, pulling Wren closer so he could kiss her on the lips. "I love you," Wren muttered back against his lips as she kissed him back.

"Also, I have a surprise for us this weekend," Wren grinned as she pulled away. Hawk raised his bro curiously, "Nope, it's a surprise, I'm not  telling," Wren added in.  Hawk gave a dramatic sigh, completely playing with her. Wren giggled as they continued to the cafeteria.
