AN / who else has heart eyes for Hawk? Cause I know I do. 😍 This chapter is gonna jump right in from the end of the last one.
Wren wrapped her arms around Hawk's neck as they kissed, the butterflies in her stomach returning once more. She couldn't recall having butterflies kissing Miguel. She didn't even want to think of the other boy, her thoughts consumed by Hawk. His lips were so soft, his kisses felt familiar, comforting in a way.
Hawk was the one to pull away first, a grin on his face as he looked down at Wren. "Shit, you are such a babe," he commented. "Mhm, messy bun, crop top and sweat pants, number one hottie, that's me," she joked. Hawk grabbed the waistband of Wrens pants, snapping them against her hip. "Perfect Netflix and chill clothes," he mused, and Wren gave him a look. " Keep it in your pants, I'm not that kind of girl," she informed him.
"I just meant they're comfortable clothes," he tried to insist, grabbing her hands from around his neck and pulling them down, holding onto one. "You ready to go back inside now, princess ? " he questioned.
" Who's still inside?" She questioned back, looking at the front door.
"Basically everybody when you left, except Big Red, he had to go pick up his brother from a date and go home," Hawk was already pulling her gently toward the front door.
"I already threatened bodily injury to anybody who gives you shit," he informed her proudly. "Hey, I'm the one who flipped you over, they should be afraid of me if anything." Hawk looked at her, " I let you do that," he insisted.
"Sure you did, Hawk, sure you did."

The house was quiet, as it was almost 11 Pm and everybody had pretty much gone off to bed, tired from the day. Aisha was in the living room waiting, a smile on her tired face, hugging Wren. "I'm really sorry, for everybody's dumb ass," she whispered as she hugged the girl.
"It's okay, I'm sorry for not answering anybody after I ran off," Wren replied, squeezing the girl back.
"Everybody went to bed, and I'm about to do the same, but we can all have breakfast in the morning, everybody pretty much grabbed a guest room. You can come share with me or the den with Hawk... I think Tory took your spot in the guest bedroom with Miguel," Aisha informed Hawk.
He rolled his eyes and shrugged, " like I wanted to share a room with that shit head anyway, I'm gonna watch a movie, I'm not even tired, night Aisha, Wren," he didn't go to move though.
"Oh, I'm not tired, can I watch with you?" Wren asked and Hawk nodded. Aisha looked at the two, still holding hands. "Down the hall to the left, there's pillows and blankets in the closet in there and the couches turn into beds," she grinned. "Don't make too much noise," she teased playfully, heading toward the stairs for her bedroom.
Wren could feel her cheeks get hot as she followed Hawk down the hall to the Den. She let go of his hand, opening the closet and grabbing some pillows, throwing them on one of the futons, and suddenly, it was dark as Hawk threw two blankets over her.
"Heyyyyy," she whined, laughing as she pulled them off her, putting them on the futon. Hawk laughed, turning on the television and clicking off the lights, the glow of the television lightning up the room. " What do you wanna watch?" He asked as he walked over to Wren, who was already curled up with one of the blankets.
" Netflix?" She teased with a smirk. "Put on something funny," she insisted as Hawk sat down next to her.
"How about an Adam Sandler movie?" He questioned, peering down at her. "Yes, he's my favorite," she grinned at Hawk.
"Oh word. Mine too," he replied, clicking on Billy Madison.
Wren shifted on the couch a bit as the movie started, and Hawk put his arm around her, smiling as she snuggled into his side.
"Thanks, for today, and caring about me and everything, " she whispered.
"You're welcome princess," he whispered back.
Before the credits were rolling, both of them had fallen fast asleep.
——
Wren woke the next morning, having thrown the blanket half way off her, still laying on Hawk. Hawk had slid down to lay on the couch at some point during the night , probably having turned the tv off, and she looked up to see him still sleeping, blurry in her eyes as she rubbed them. She hummed, snuggling back against Hawk, the den still dark except for a small sliver of light peeking out from under the door that lead to the rest of the house.
Wren was so comfortable, she could've laid there forever, the room dark, cool and quiet. She felt Hawk shift under her, a sigh of content leaving his mouth. Wren looked up at him, wondering what he was dreaming about, she closed her eyes again, listening to Hawk breathing, deciding she would lay there until he woke up. It wasn't long before she drifted back off to sleep herself.
The next time Wren woke up the house past the door was a bit nosier and she was alone on the couch. She sat up, rubbing her eyes and yawning, looking to the sound of a toilet flushing and a sink running in the bathroom in the den. Hawk came out a moment later, grinning at Wren. "So nice of you to join us, sleeping beauty," he teased. "I brought your bag down for you," he pointed to it.
Wren got up from the couch with a smile, grabbing her toiletries bag and slipping past Hawk into the bathroom. She washed her face and brushed her teeth, pulling her hair out of its messy bun and combing it a bit with her fingers. She threw her stuff back into its small bag, emerging from the bathroom to see Hawk folding up the blankets on the couch.
"Okay, I feel like a human now," she laughed and Hawk turned around to look at her. "Good morning to you too," he chuckled, putting the blanket down on the couch.
Wren walked over to help fold the other blanket and Hawk grabbed her waist, pulling her against him, leaning down, his face close to hers. "No good morning kiss?" he whispered.
Wren grinned, her hands reaching up to hold his face, kissing him. "All you had to do was ask," she muttered against his lips.
He backed up a bit, pulling Wren onto his lap as he sat on the couch, tangling his hands in the back of her hair as he kissed her harder.
Wren shifted in his lap, her knees pressing into the cushions on the back of the couch and Hawk hissed against her lips, pressing his hips up against hers, a small moan coming out of Wren's mouth.
Hawk moved his mouth to Wren's jaw and then her neck, pulling her head back by her hair to plant kisses on her neck, sucking on her skin. Wren grinded her hips down against Hawk's again and he groaned against her neck, his hands moving to grab her hips. She pushed him off her neck, her lips seeking his again, kissing him harder than before as the two of the grinded against each other.
"Fuck...stop...stop," Hawk muttered against her lips, "You keep that shit up and i'll cum in my sweats," he pulled away to look at her, his cheeks just as red and hot as hers.
"Got a little carried away," she admitted, letting go of the grip she had on his t-shirt. "That was some good morning kiss," Hawk smirked, his thumb running over the mark he left on Wren's neck.
"You didn't?!" she gasped and the smirk remained on his face as he leaned in close to her. "Oh I did, princess, you're mine," he whispered.
Wren could feel her whole body heating up at Hawk's words and she turned her head to look away. "Oh, you're going to get all shy on me now?" he questioned, kissing her jaw.
"We should show face, everybody is going to wonder what we're doing in here," she whispered.
"I told everybody not to be alarmed if they heard you screaming," Hawk teased. Wren gasped, looking at him with eyes wide, smacking his chest. "I'm kidding!" he exclaimed, lifting Wren out of his lap and put her on the couch next to him, adjusting his sweats as he stood up.
"Common, apparently Tory is making apology breakfast."
