Kokichi suddenly stopped crying and he stood up to return to the table, sitting back down on it and crossing his legs. He flashed a smile at rantaro before putting on a familiar commanding persona "everyone, introduce yourself to the new recruit" He commanded with a smile as he pointed at rantaro. The robot went first, stepping forwards slightly and cupping his hands in front of himself in a blatant display of socal awkwardness "I am kiibo idabashi...it's very nice to meet you" His light, kind voice made the smallest smile appear on rantaro's face 'he seems nice enough' rantaro thought to himself. There was silence as they turned their attention to the manga reader...rantaro didn't think the boy knew what was going on "hey idiot say your name!" Kokichi exclamed which finally got his attention. He looked up from the manga he was reading with a partially surprised expression "huh? Oh I...i am kaito momota luminary of the stars!" Kokichi turned towards rantaro "He's just a space nerd" He whispered Just loud enough for kaito to hear him "am not!" "Are too!"
Kokichi looked away from the manga reader with a "hmph!" Before looking at the dark teal haired boy "your turn" He said simply. It was blatantly obvious that shuichi had no desire to speak to the green haired boy "....right um....my name is shuichi saihara and I'm the vice president of the club....fantastic meeting you" Kiibo glared at shuichi "it was a pleasure to meet you" Kiibo said with a strained smile. shuichi sighed not even trying to one up kiibo in return. Part of rantaro was disappointed as he would've liked the conflict but the other part was thankfull for the exact opposite reason "And you already know me" Kokichi said with a grin "now it's your turn" Everyone looked up at rantaro, even kaito, which made rantaro extremely anxious. He didn't like one person staring at him let alone four "uh...." He mumbled unknowingly "whats the matter? Did you forget your name?" ".....i'm rantaro amami"
Kokichi let out a loud and long groan, startling almost everyone there (except kaito who was spaced out on his manga) "that name's so long...I'm just going to call you....ranchi!" Rantaro looked confused with the nickname assined to him so kiibo came to the rescue with an answer "he names people after food....ranchi means lunch in Japanese.. believe me you get used to it after awhile" Rantaro nodded with understanding before kokichi decided to change the subject. He looked at shuichi expectingly "did you bring the stuff shu?" "Mhm....they may be a little shaken up from earlier today....is that alright?" Kokichi nodded his head as shuichi silently reached into his bag. He rummaged around for a few seconds before pulling out a few snacks, a few sodas and a laptop "woo! Shuichi for the win!" Kaito said with a smile as the boy hooked his laptop up to the projector with a click.
"What do you guys want to watch today" He asked. kiibo looked at rantaro. He smiled at him but rantaro only gave a half hearted smile in return. "well....rantaro is new so maybe he should choose" Kiibo said matter of factly. Kokichi, however, didn't agree, looking partially offended "I'm the leader so I should choose" "I've been here the longest so I should choose" After that they burst into an argument. Rantaro just stayed silent as they faught, wondering how often that happened and occasionally glancing towards the window awkwardly. They we're so preoccupied with the argument that they didn't even notice shuichi putting on danganronpa.
Once the intro music started they quieted down and sat in the desks they pushed together to make a table. Rantaro was going to follow but he couldn't make a decision....who should he sit next too? Kokichi or kiibo. Did it even matter? He didn't think shuichi would mind if he sat next to kokichi....but just to be safe he sat next to kiibo to avoid making shuichi sad.
