Jonah had caried Emily to her bed after she had cried herself to sleep. There were no more pillow fights that night. The news came that Pastor Rob would like to see Emily and Jonah.
"Emily I want you to promise me something okay." Pastor Rob said weakly."What Emily said probably just as weak. "You tell your story to everyone yo meet here you hear! And Jonah promise me you'll make sure she will." "I promise said Jonah. "Emily?" Pastor Rob asks. "But what about you?" Emily asked quitly. "Emily I'm going to heaven if I die and that's an if but they are sending me back to the states to get treatment but I want you to promise me." Pastor Rob said with more passion he had ever used in any sermon or any devotional. " I promise." and with those words Emily's eyes opened to what she had to do and also the pain of the others not just her own. She especially saw Jonah's.
After they were out of the room in which they were keeping Pastor Rob emily grabbed Jonah's arm to get him to stop. "I'm sorry." Emily said chocking up. "about what?" "I'm sorry I wasn't there for you last night. I was only thinking of myself and how this would affect me. Your always there for me so it's my turn to be there for you." "Em you.." "Yes I do Emily interupted. Jonah smiled."You know it only hurts this much because I could see your pain and not just some of it but all of it. Well, that and my feet hurt pretty bad too." They both laughed.
Emily and Jonah got the whole youth group together and they were ready to see everyone they saw the message and they weren't going to let one person pass them by without them hearing it, so that's what they did.
