Oscar.

I completely forgot I told Monse to get Oscar. He looked angry, as well as worried. He walked in and immediately hugged me and kissed the top of my head. I felt him stiffen, I knew he saw Mateo. "Who is he?" I didn't look at Oscar's face but I knew his jaw was clenched from the way he spoke. I looked up to him then to Mateo. "Oscar, this is my cousin Mateo, from Detroit. He came here." I saw Oscar reach behind him for his gun.

I grabbed his arm before he could reach his gun, and shook my head. He had an angered face but sighed and pulled his hand away. I walked over to Mateo, "Mateo, meet Oscar." Mateo walks over and sticks his hand out, "Nice to meet you man." He had a warm smile on his face. Oscar grabbed his hand, "Nice to meet you too." Oscar's face went from a scowl to a forced smile. I left a heavy sigh and looked down. Mentally cursing myself for forgetting how protective they both are. I see their hands have a battle of who will let go first.

I put my hand on top of theirs and separate them. "Mateo, why don't you go call Tony and Donny and have them start packing." He nodded his head and walked towards my room that I pointed out. Oscar looked annoyed and confused.

"Befo-," "Who the hell is that and why are you telling them to get more people here?!" His voice was a yelling whisper. "Mateo is my cousin and he is calling Tony and Donny to come here. Back home those boys went through a lot and I was like their.. safe space. Whenever there was something wrong I would help. They are having a hard time so they're all moving down here and getting jobs and a house with me." I could see the shock and defiance on his face. "Why?" He looked hurt. "Their my family Oscar it's hard not having someone there. They are the people I love and they need me. They will all go to school with me and we will all get part time jobs too." Oscar looked hurt but I couldn't figure out why. Does he not understand that they are basically family? My brothers and I need them.

Oscar didn't say anything, he just walked over to the couch. He put his head in his hands like his thoughts were going too fast. I walked over moving his arms and sitting on his lap. As I straddled him, he put his hands on my waist and put his head on my chest. I put my hand on the back of his head, massaging his head. "Is he safe?" He mumbled to me and I stopped everything I was doing. "Oscar, he is as safe as me and you. He won't hurt anyone here." I heard a sigh after I returned to massaging his head.

Mateo came out of my room holding a picture frame. He looked at me and I saw him comprehending what was happening as his eyes went wide. I saw the question in his eyes 'are y'all a thing' I nodded my head and he seemed to understand. I pulled one hand away from Oscar and made a grabbing motion to Mateo so I could see what picture he had.

Mateo walked over and handed me the frame then sat on the recliner. In the photo was my dad, Tony, Donny, Mateo, and me after a mission. We still had blood on our clothes and all big smiles. I smiled at the photo remembering the day it was taken.

Flashback

It was early Sunday morning. Donny had come back from war and moved in with the gang Friday. We've had this gang trying to steal from us and my dad was fed up with it. They were a little smaller than us. My dad got info on their territory and we were going to take it. My dad rounded the boys and five other guys up. We all hopped into cars and sped to the place. Once we got to the block all windows went down and bullets went everywhere. We had been there for about an hour. We killed all the men, left the woman and children. We had some morals. The last guy was the leader. We always leave leaders for last so they can watch their empire fall. I walked up and all the guys were behind me. I shot him straight between the eyes. We were covered in blood but we were happy. We all lined up outside with bodies still in the background and my father had us take a photo. After that my dad gave me a little more respect for having no hesitation.

Flashback over

Oscar was now looking at me and wiped a tear from my cheek I didn't even notice fell. Oscar looked at the photo and realization hit his face. He pulled me in for a tight hug. "Tony and Don are packing, they said they would pack my stuff too." Mateo's voice seemed a little awkward. Oscar let go and I rolled over so I was sitting next to him. "Okay, that means we have to start looking for a place to live for all of us. Also we need to find jobs and get you all signed up for school down here." This was going to be a long complicated process.

I just really need everyone to get along, especially with Oscar. Everyone is super overprotective so it will be very hard for them to get to an understanding.

For the next few hours we were online looking for houses with everything we needed. We also talked about jobs. Donny was out of high school but I really want him to go to college. I know he wouldn't agree so he needs a full time job. We found a job at a restaurant for Mateo, a car shop for Donny to work full time and me half time, then Tony will work at a grocery store.

We found a small house with four beds and 3.5 bathrooms. That will have to do. We have Mateo signed up for junior year of high school, Tony for senior year with me. I found a community college that Donny can go to if he wants. Oscar offered to help pay but I told him no. Mateo and Oscar seemed to be getting along while we went through the three hour long process. We soon went to sleep Mateo fell asleep on the recliner while he was looking stuff up so I took the laptop and covered him with a blanket. Oscar stayed in my room with me. We watched 'The Dark Knight' . He fell asleep when the joker was threatening people at the fundraiser. It was around 3am when I fell asleep the movie had ended.

The cliffhanger has been resolved. Also if you haven't seen the dark knight what are you doing best joker Heath ledger was a madman. It's on Netflix. Go watch it now. Also family reunions. Okay post soon hopefully bye. :)
