prompt= a story through Spencer's pregnancy with toby by her side

2019   18th March

Spencer Hasting soon to be Cavanaugh had a secret, even her wonderful finance of 10 months Toby Cavanaugh who had proposed to her in a game of scrabble din't know.

Upstairs tucked away in her and her fiancé draws was a tissue with a positive pregnancy test  that has been hidden for one week not because she's scared because she wants to tell her fiancé in a way only  that Spencer and Toby know how. Scrabble

It's not that Spencer is scared of being pregnant it's different to when she had a pregnancy scare with toby in college at 19 but now at 24 years old engaged to the man of her dreams she is filled with excitement about her little bundle of joy.

As Spencer walked through her newly designed kitchen filled with wedding planning stuff she looked at it and sighed wishing she could enjoy wedding planning or i don't know just elope with Toby it would be so much easier.

She and Toby have recently moved into the old Hastings Manor her parents gave it to them as a engagement present and then Toby and Jason remodeled it to fit the likes of them.

" ok so I've got the wine (for toby) the scrabble board and the candles" i thought to myself

As I start getting dressed into the infamous blue anchor shirt I stole from Toby 9 years ago  and some black leggings Toby likes these because apparently you can see my ass through them very well or something i don't know we ended up having sex after it anyway. My phone rings and i see Toby's face pop up onto my screen.

" Hey babe" i spoke into the phone

"hey baby you ok you sound very happy" my heart flutters every time he calls me babe

" ye don't worry I'm fine just exited to see you" i smiled knowing what i have to tell him

" ok well I'm leaving the office now so I'll be home in 5 ok" Toby spoke

Toby is currently running for mayor even though he still does some carpentry he wants to make the town a better place and i am so proud o him.

"ok that's fine drive safe"

"love you spence" he spoke

"love you to babe" i said whilst grinning

I have 5 minutes so i take the test out of the draw and place it under my pillow ready to sneak onto the board whilst he is distracted.

i snap out of my trance when i hear the door shut downstairs i take one last look into the mirror and place my hand on my still flat belly and think about how much i already love this little baby i brace myself as i start to walk downstairs.

"spence you heer" i hear him shout

"ye i'm here" i say entering the living room and going up to kiss him on the lips

"mmm not that i didn't enjoy that but what was that for" he asks giving me and eskimo kiss and placing his briefcase down and undoing his tie before setting it down on the chair

"what can i not kiss my fiance" i giggle 

" so what you all dressed up for" he laughs staring up and down my choice of attire
