Insecurities

hi me again this another shot i have thought about for quite a while so let me know what you think.

Prompt: Toby is Mayor and has just hired a new secretary who he has no interest in her at all but spencer has a lot of insecurities because she and Toby have 3 kids and thinks she's going to steal Toby from her  but she's wrong.

set 4 years after the finale.

Live in the old Hastings manor but renovated to fit the Cavanaugh's.

i wake up slowly adjusting to the morning coldness i looked over at my right and saw that it was only 7:30 i thought about waking spencer up so we could have sex before the kids come in because spencer said something one time about needing her daily dose of toby or she gets cranky we both laughed after she said that, it's quite surprising that with 3 children and full time jobs we still make time to have sex or do something to pleasurer each other every single day, my thoughts were soon interrupted by a tiny little foot kicking me in the face shocking me a little bit i look down and see my two little boys asleep in our queen sized bed they must of crawled in with me and spencer last night.

Noah's head is resting on spencer's chest while his feet are streamed over my stomach i laugh at the awkward position that my son got into i look a bit further down and saw Kai was wrapped around my leg with his head at my calf and his legs around my thigh how the hell did they get there.

i reach down and pull him of my leg and put him on my torso he groans but doesn't wake up i swear this kids has an aversion to waking up he re wrapped his arms around my stomach and went back to sleep i moved my hand from under him and reached over to my wife of 4 years and started stroking her hair until her beautiful mocha eyes opened and stared up at me but then she looked down and saw our sons sleeping in their positions and quietly laughed before covering my hand with her own and kissing it.

"how did they get in here" she asked in a whisper voice careful not to wake our sleeping princes.

"i don't know but it's like 4 degrees outside so they probably got cold and thought they could sneak in here" i told her laughing.

" Marion is finally sleeping through the night so that's a good thing" she tells me noticing our daughter isn't crying the house down.

"ye i know finally right" i said and just then i felt tiny feet stretch and i hear a tiny yawn and see Noah waking up from his mothers chest.

he lifts his head and turns around so he's settled snuggly in between me and spencer.

"hi mommy hi daddy" he says in his light sleepy angelic voice

"Hi honey nice sleep" spencer asked ruffling his hair .

"it was very nice and very warm" he says still in his sleepy voice.

Noah taps Kai on the head so his brother wakes up Kai looks up with his cute angry face.

"hey Noah what was that for, mommy daddy Noah hit me" Kai complains sitting up on my stomach with his tiny arms crossed across his chest.

"he was waking you up bud you don't want to miss pre school do you it's drawing competition today" i say and his angry face lightens up and he hugs his brother.
