Toby Cavanaugh walked through the door to his and his girlfriends spencer's loft, he and spencer are staying there since spencer's parents decided they want to sell the house so that meant spencer and him were kicked out of the barn ahh the hastings hospitality, Ezra and Aria had moved into a small condo after there honeymoon so the loft was still ownerless until him and spencer needed a place to crash while they find a new place to live so they're just staying there temporarily.

After everything that happened last year with Alex and Yvonne they both decided that they are soulmates and have been in a happy relationship for 11 months now.

"spence baby you here" .

I took of my coat a while i called for my beautiful brown haired girlfriend.

"spence, spencer where are you " i shouted through the loft wondering where she got to.

I walked past the living room defiantly it was tidier than it was when I left for work this morning. Me and Jason were still working on building houses and getting homeless people of the streets i still do some carpentry on the side like when i designed Hanna and cables crib for their son Aiden. Whilst spencer is working at her own company as a interior designer she decided to quit law school and do something she wanted for once in her life i am so proud of her.

I checked our bathroom the closet but when i went over to mine and Spencers bed which were surrounded by fairy lights (spencer's choice) I noticed a note and a key lying on the bed. I felt a tiny smirk come on my face before i picked it up wondering what my lovely girlfriend had instore for him this time.

Dear Tobes, By now your probably home wondering what I am up to but it's a surprise so just read the note and pay attention xxxxxx . You've been working so hard helping people and i feel like i don't help you enough so if you want to find me take the key i put on the bed and go to the place where you became my Safe Place To Land and you'll find what you're looking for.

I smiled at my wonderful girlfriends words, now intrigued I picked up the key that sat next to the note written by my sweetheart girlfriend and made my way to the infamous truck that had lasted through so much.

As i started the truck i sat for a minute thinking about where spencer claimed me as her safe place to land which i happily accepted my mind immediately thought about about when spencer invited me over when we first started dating it was the night before Ian died and tried to take my precious girlfriend with him. Spencer had told me that i was her safe place to land. without wasting another second i sped up to the hasting manor wondering if we were allowed in because of the house being sold, but then i remembered that spencer would never get us into trouble.
