It past midnight and everyone was out cold. The only two awake were Jj and I, we were outside chilling in the hammocks. I had laid between his legs back to his chest swinging lightly when the wind blew. He was playing my hair as I played with his rings. "Jay?"
"What's up?" His voice was low and raspy almost like he was about to fall asleep.
"Are you awake of half awake sleep?" I felt him chuckle underneath me.
"What kind of question is that?"
"No clue...hey let's go for a walk"
"Baby it's past 12" he looked down at me as I continued to play with his rings.
"I know but I wanna go on a walk" I felt him move from underneath me and soon felt the warmth of him turn to coldness. I turned to the side and saw him standing, he held out his hand and smiled.
"Well m'lady your walk awaits" I grabbed his hand, jumping out of the hammock he pulled me towards his chest and grabbed the side of my face. He rubbed my check with his thumb as his other hand held my hand, with my free one I grabbed the hand that cupped my face and pulled it to my lips.
"I love you"
His smile grew wider, "you know I love it when you say that"
"Come on my''love let's go" we slowly broke away and began to walk.
We walked for a solid 20 minutes before we came up on the beach, I pulled Jj towards the sand. "Jay I wanna watch the waves"
He smiled and pulled me down to sit, he put me between his legs my back resting on his chest and his arms around my waist to keep me warm.
"You wanna know something?" I turned my head and looked up at him, he was looking out at the ocean with the moon light giving just enough brightness to see he looked upset.
"What's wrong?" I pulled away and tucked my legs in front of me.
"I used to have this thought were I'd be trapped with my dad, and that there wouldn't be a way out. Ever. But I met you thanks to John b, and you. You gave me hope of find an escape you gave be hope to try again and I just really love you"
My heart broke but also fluttered at what he said, I didn't know he felt like this. Yes on many occasions we talked, and I mean really talked but I don't think I ever really heard him talk like this.
I grabbed the side of his face a wiped the tears. "Hey, jay listen to me. I will always be here okay. No matter what, I love you so much and you being here with me I could never be happier. You did it baby you escaped from him, you're here in the beautiful world with me. Okay it's you and me against the word!
He smiled and pulled me into a hug, a very much needed hug. "I love you jay"
