Andy's POV:
"Do you think she's okay?" Sarah asked with a shakey voice. I just stared into the distance like I was in outer space. I couldn't concentrate. Ashley's voice kept replaying in my head. I soon snapped out of my thoughts. "Come on. Let's go." I said getting up finding the car keys.
*Hospital*
Ashley's POV:
After I called Andy i cried in the corner. Minutes later a woman came out. "Ashley Purdy?" I stood up "yes, is Leeann going to be okay?" She had a disappointed look on her face. She took a deep breath. "Mr. Purdy.... this isn't easy to say." I began to cry again. I felt a lump in the back of my throat. "Leeann lost her baby.. she is fine but she can't see anyone until 2 hours from now." I felt a sharp pain in my chest like my heart just broke.. i sat down and laid my head on my hands and cried more. How could I love this baby so much? I didn't even really meet him/her yet. Did I do something wrong? Did I cause it? I began crying louder and started hyperventilating.
Andy's POV:
I dropped Sarah off at work and headed to the hospital. I scanned through the waiting room looking for Ashley. "Andy" I heard someone say from behind me. It sounded like they've been crying. I turn around to see Ashley with red eyes, tears all over his shirt and still crying. "Ash." I pulled him in for a hug. "She-she" he started stuttering "sh-she lost th-th-the baby." we kept hugging and then I started crying. We sat down "I'm so so so sorry" I said while wiping away my tears. He just hid his face and cried more. "Have you seen her?" He shook his head no and let out a sigh. "No I haven't they said that she's okay." He looked at me "Andy i can't do this. That baby meant the world to us. And now it's not here. Please appreciate everyone you meet. Ev-even" he started to cry and said the last few words while wiping his tears "even if you haven't met them.. do - don't take anyone or anything for granted.. they aren't always going to be there." We hugged and cried.
2 hours later Sarah came. "Ashley this is Sarah" I said while wiping my face. He stood up and sniffled "nice to meet you" and shook her hand. She hugged him and said "is Leeann okay" him and I both started crying again.
I'm sorry that I didn't update yesterday. And that this is bad. I was in class and a movie was on so I typed this. comment/ vote /share. I'll try to put up another chapter tonight. Sorry that it's so short.
