Chapter 2

~ Kayla's POV~

Hey, I'm so excited to see you at school today!! 😘

I really like Nash. I was so happy when he asked me out. I was kind of stupid though. I just stared at him and nodded my head.

Today is the first day of being a Junior. Wow. I was wearing high waisted shorts and a flowy lavender floral tank top with black convers. I also curled my hair.

Ariel is picking me up. I just got my drivers license but I'm not very good.

"Kayla, Ariel is here!!" My mom yelled.

"I'm coming mom!" I yelled back as I ran down the stairs. I got in the front seat of Ariels car... She has a really nice car.

"Hey, thanks for taking me to school." I told her. She looked really pretty. She had white shorts and a mint tank with polka dots and mint converse, she wore her hair natural.

"No problem. You look really pretty." She told me. I said thanks. We talked about Nash the rest off he way.

That wasn't a problem.

~ Kats POV~

I pulled into the school parking lot and immediately saw Ariel. She is like my best friend. I mean every one in the gang is my best friend. But Ariel is my very best friend. If that makes sense.

I walked over to her,"Hey" I said. She said hey back. Then we walked to class.

(Lunch)

We don't have lunch with the juniors so it was just me and Ariel. And I was ok with that. Sometimes I need some alone time with my BFF.

I saw Ariel walk in to the cafeteria talking to Taylor Caniff... wait... TAYLOR CANIFF!!! She has had like a major crush on him sense like 8th grade.

"Ariel... who were you talking to?" I asked.

"Only the hottest guy in school!!!" She told me.

"Ahhhhhhhh!!" We both screamed.

"Ya, but I don't think he likes me..." she said. Aw.

"Why?" I asked. I felt really bad. She really likes him.

"I don't know he just didn't seem very interested. But he did say I looked good." She smiled.

"Well that's better than nothing." I told her. She nodded. The rest of lunch went by quickly.

(After School)

~Ariels POV~
Today was a good day. And I have decided that I would rather be friends with Taylor than not have him in my life at all. So I'm not going to be bothered that he doesn't like me.

I called all of the gang and told them to come over. They got here in like 3 minutes.

"Ok so, I have decided that if Taylor doesn't like me... I don't care." I said.

"What!?" Kat yelled. I slowly nodded.

"How was everyone's first day?" I asked everyone. They just laughed and hugged me. "Thanks guys." I said. They are like the best friends ever. Even if it doesn't bother me I still like him.

"Ok I'm going to bed." I told everyone. I really love sleep.
