Chapter 6

This is Layla aka Kayla. I think this chapter will be better.

~Kayla's POV~
Nash and I are going on a date tonight. It's out first actual date... I'm really nervous. He's coming at 7:00. It's 5:45 right now.

I went and took a shower and decided to wear my hair curly. I don't wear it curly very often but lots of people like it. I put on my make up and chose my outfit.

Nash said wear something casual but not sweatpants. I chose some high waisted white shorts and a baby blue tank top that I tucked into my shorts. I put on my silver flat sandals and looked in the mirror.

I untucked my shirt... and then I was ready. It was only 6:40 so I got on Instagram and posted a selfie. I captioned it "First date with Nash! ❤️😍" all my friends commented for me to tell them all about it.

Nash commented that he was so ready to see me. Aw.

I heard the door bell. So I grabbed my purse and opened the front door. Nash left a note it said:

Dear Kayla,
Cameron is around the corner in his car. Go get in the backseat. I promise this will be a night you'll never forget.

Ok... that's weird. I locked the front door and started walking to Cameron's car. And sure enough it was around the corner.

I knocked on the window and he pointed to the back seat.

I opened the back door and there was Nash. With flowers. Awwww. He motioned for me to get in. I did. The car was pretty small so we were really close to each other. I didn't mind. I love the smell of his cologne.

Cameron started driving.

"Where are we going?" I asked Nash.

"You'll see..." he answered. He touched my hair. "I really like your hair natural."

"I don't wear it like this very often..." I told him.

"Why, you look beautiful." He whispered. I leaned into him laying my head on his chest. He started playing with my hair. We sat like that until Cameron announced that we were here.

We were at a fair. Fairs are fun. We got out of the car and bought out tickets.

"What do you want to do first?" Nash asked me. I really like Ferris wheels.

"What about the Ferris wheel?" I suggested. He grinned and grabbed my hand. He pulled us to the line for it.

"Next group!" The guy working the machine yelled. We got in a car thing and started going up.

We stopped at the top so the people could get on and Nash started freaking out. What the crap.

"Hey, Nash were just stopping so people can get on." I told him. He nodded. Once we started moving again he was fine.

The ride ended and he took me over to a concession stand.

"What do you want?" He asked me.

"A small cotton candy and a large diet coke."

"Yooou knooooow, we could share the large diet coke." Nash grinned and I nodded.

We got our food and drink and chose a table. It was in a corner and it was really romantic.

~Nash's POV~

Kayla is such and amazing girl. I'm so glad I found her. We were siting at a table in a dark corner. It was really romantic.

I leaned across the table to get a drink and Kayla did too... At the same time. We bumped heads.

"Ow," Kayla whispered. Then I tilted her chin up and looked into her eyes. I am going to kiss her.

I leaned in, then I heard someone yell gross. And right before our lips met someone poured a blue slushy on both of our heads. I am going to kill whoever did this.

I looked up and no one was there. I looked over at Kayla and she was trying to get it all of her. And she is freezing.

"Wait." I said. I took off my coat. It had blue stuff on it but it's better than nothing. I put it on her shoulders.

"Thanks, I'm sorry but can we leave... please?" She asked. I don't blame her.

"Ya, come on." I grabbed her hand and started walking.

"Um, Nash... don't you need to get a car?" She asked very confused. She's cute when she's confused.

"No, my house is really close." I told her.

"Wait, we're going to your house?" She asked. I smiled.

"Yep. We're going to order pizza and watch Netflix." I stated. She smiled really big.

"Yay! I love pizza, and Netflix!" She yelled. I laughed at her. And right there in the street I cupped her face in my hands and kissed her.

She seemed surprised at first, but then she kissed back. Until some jerk in a car honked at us. I pulled away and laughed.

"It's like no one wants us to kiss." I laughed. She smiled. She blushed.

"Nash... you were my first kiss..." She whispered. I looked at her and kissed her again.

"And your second." I laughed. "Let's hurry up and go watch Netflix!" I yelled. I grabbed her hand and started running to my house.

I really like Kayla.
