Chapter 21

~Kalli's POV~
Matt is meeting my brother today... I'm afraid that Adam won't like him. I really like Matt, and I don't want my brother to get in the way of that.

We are going to Red Lobster, so I'm wearing a deep blue lace shirt with white jeans and black converse.

(Car w/ Matt)

"Matt, please don't let Adam freak you out..." I told Matt.

"Babe, he won't freak me out, and he's your brother so you shouldn't be afraid of him." Matt told me.

"I'm not afraid of him, it's just that... I don't know, he may... scare you." I sighed.

"Kalli, he won't scare me..." Matt told me. Ugh! Why won't he listen to me. I nodded as we pulled into the parking lot. We both got out of the car and walked into the restaurant hand in hand.

I saw Adam and smiled. He smiled then looked at our hands. Im so stupid. I dropped Matt's hand and crossed my arms over my chest. We sat at the table. I sat next to Matt. Adam motioned for us to move farther away from each other. And again... I'm stupid.

"So... you must be Matthew..." Adam asked Matt, creepy much. I glared at Adam, and grabbed Matt's hand under the table,

"Um, yes I am Matthew, but you can call me Matt." He told Adam, I looked at Matt and he was smiling... Then I looked at Adam he was, well, he had no emotion.

We ordered our food, "So, Adam, how is the Air Force?" I asked... trying to beak the awkwardness.

"It's great Kal, were doing all the body building stuff right now..." Adam told me looking right at Matt. Gosh.

"That sounds cool..." I said. Adam smiled at me.

"So how's your life been little sis?" Adam asked me. I smiled. I'm glad he's off of the topic of Matt.

"Well, school and stuff. The whole gang has boyfriends now, and we all go on dates together a lot." I told him.

"Dates? With him?" Adam asked. Crap.

"Um, ya..." I whispered. I could feel him glaring at Matt... even though I was staring at a napkin.

"Kal, why don't you go to the bathroom?" Adam suggested.

"But-" I started.

"Kal, go." Adam commanded. I got up and walked around the corner... to listen to Adam rant at Matt.

"So... Matthew, I'm going to get right to the point. I don't like you, or the fact that your dating my sister. She is very fragile and doesn't deserve to get her heart ripped out by a stupid boy." Adam started. My jaw dropped. Fragile!?

"Adam I think tha-" Adam cut Matt off.

"No, I think that you should leave my sister alone, or this will not be the last time you see me." Adam continued. Did he just tell Matt to dump me!?

"Whatever." Matt mumbled. Then he got up and walked out the door. I'm crying now, how could my own brother do this to me!!

"ADAM!" I started walking out from my hiding spot, "WHY DO YOU WANT TO RUIN MY LIFE?! I LOVE MATT!!!" I screamed. People were staring... and I don't care. I ran out of the restaurant.

I ran up to Matt, I was still crying and I think Matt was too, "Matt, don't listen to him, I don't care what he thinks." I told Matt.

"Ya, but you should. He's your brother and you need him to be proud of you. you told me yourself." Matt whispered.

"Matt, what are you saying..." I asked crying harder.

"I think we should take a break..." Matt mumbled. I froze... he doesn't mean it.

"Matt... I love you." I told him. He smiled...

"And I love you too... but, we're taking a break, I'm sorry... I really am." I am bawling now. Matt kissed my forehead, "I love you Kalli..." he told me walking away from me.

If you love me Matt... you wouldn't leave me.

~Taylor's POV~
"Hey babe, lets go get pizza!" I told Ariel.

"Yay! I haven't had pizza in forever!" She exclaimed. She grabbed my hand and ran to the car.

"Ariel, what's the rush?" I asked her laughing. She gets really excited really fast.

"I want pizza!" She yelled. I laughed and scooped her up in my arms.

"I'm not taking you unless you kiss me..." I smirked.

"Ok, I'll just take myself." She stated. I fake pouted.

"Oh no, I'm coming..." I told her.

"Only if you kiss me!" She yelled, I smirked. Well then.

"...Well, now we're back to where we started." I sighed. Then I cupped her face and kissed her, "Now can I come?"

"Yep!" She exclaimed. We got in the car.

"Next time we go somewhere, just kiss me, then we won't have to go through this again." I told her.

"Why don't I just kiss you all the time?" She asked.

"Um... I think I could live with that." she smiled. I love making her smile.

We pulled into the pizza place and went inside.

I ordered and we sat down to wait for our pizza.

I kissed her forehead and whispered, "I love you..."

"I love you too..." she told me. How did I end up with such an amazing girl.
