Chapter 11

~Ariel's POV~
Taylor and I are going on our first date as a couple tonight. I'm really exited. He said were gong to the park... so I'm wearing black shorts and a hot pink flowy tank that cuts off right above my belly button and black Converse.

Taylor rang the door bell and I opened the door and jumped on him like a koala. He laughed.

"Did you miss me?" He asked. I nodded. "I missed you to princess." Aw... he called me Princess. "You look beautiful."

"Thanks..." I smiled and turned in a circle so he could see my whole outfit.

"Are you ready?" He asked. I nodded again. We got in his car and took off.

(Park)

We got out of the car. Taylor walked around to the trunk, he pulled out a picnic basket.

"Aw, Tay, I love picnics!" I yelled. He smiled really big.

"And I love seeing you smile." He said. I smiled really big. He grabbed my hand and we started walking.

He took me to a tree. We spread the blanket out and got out the food. He made peanut butter sandwiches, he brought fruit and goldfish to. I love goldfish.

We finished eating and he said "Let's walk!" I stood up and said "Ya... I can walk." He laughed.

We were walking by a little creek. It was really pretty. "Ariel, look theirs a flower!" He pointed to a small blue flower in the middle of a bunch of weeds.

He picked up and put it behind my ear. I heard thunder.

"Was that thunder?" I asked. He shrugged. I laughed.

"I don't know... I was to focused on you." He whispered. I felt a rain drop and looked up.

"Taylor... it's raining..." I said.

"Are you going to melt" he smirked. I nodded. He laughed. And right then is started pouring.

"I'm meting! I'm melting!" I screamed falling to the ground.

"Nooooo!!!" Taylor screamed. He picked me up and stood me on my feet. "You can not melt."

"Why not?" I asked pouting.

"Because I would miss you to much." He whispered. I smiled. "There's that smile again." He got really close to me.

I looked up at him... he's like a giant. A really wet giant. We are soaked. Taylor had a white shirt on and it was sticking to his body... he has a really nice body.

I looked down. Taylor lifted my chin up and looked into my eyes. Before I knew what was happening. Taylor was kissing me. It scared me a little bit... and I didn't kiss back.

"What... you don't want to kiss me?" He asked. I just stood on my tiptoes and kissed him. He pulled me closer to him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he had his arms around my waist.

The rain was still coming down... hard. But we didn't care. I moved my hands to his hair and I was playing with it while we kissed. It was getting really heated and we started making out.

There was a big boom of thunder and I jumped. Taylor pulled away.

"We should probably go..." Taylor said. He picked me up bridal style and ran with me back to the car.

~Callie's POV~
"20 laps!" My cheer coach yelled. We have a competition coming up and we need to get in shape.

We started running. Someone's shoe flew off and I tripped.

"Ow!" I screamed. I think I broke my ankle.

"Every one stop!" My coach yelled. She ran over to me. "Are you ok?"

"I think I broke my ankle..." I whispered.

"Lexi, Kinzie , come carry Callie to the chairs. Callie you need to call someone to take you to the hospital." she said. I nodded.

The girls carried me to the chair and handed me my phone. I called Carter... I don't really know why.

"Hey Carter, I am at cheer practice and I think a broke my ankle. Can you please come take me to the hospital?" I asked.

"Ya, I'll be there in five min." He answered and hung up.

(Hospital)

"I'm sorry Callie, but you have broken your ankle." The doctor said. Carter was still here. All of my friends were busy and couldn't come.

"Ok..." I answered.

"Sir, you can take her home now." the doctor said to Carter. He nodded.

He picked me up bridal style and carried me to the car.

When we got to my house he carried me in and set me on the couch. He did every thing the doctor said to do. I have this big boot on my foot... it's really ugly. It won't look good in the competition. Wait... I can't compete. I started crying. And I don't cry... Ever.

"Callie! Why are you crying!?" Carter asked. I told him about cheer. "Oh... I'm sorry" I kept crying. "It will be ok..." I shook my head.

"Hey, look at me," I looked up, "It. Will. Be. Ok. I promise." Then he leaned in and lightly brushed my lips with his, "Ok?"

"Ok." I said smiling. Did that really just happen?

(Next Day)

I was sitting on the couch when the doorbell rang

"Come in!" I yelled. Carter walked in with a box. "Um... what's that?"

"A present..." He said.

"We'll give it to me!" I screamed. What could it be? Carter and I have gotten really close. He stayed with me last night until my parents got home.

He handed me the box. I opened it. There was a kitten in it! I live kittens. It was dark brown with bright blue eyes.

"It's so cute!" I screamed. He sat down and smiled.

"You like her?" He asked. I nodded.

"It's a girl?" I asked. He nodded. "I'm naming her Nutella."

"That's a cute name... Just like you..." he said.

I hugged him. Then I kissed him. "I'm so sorry... I was just caught up in the moment..." i whispered.

"No... I liked it." He said back. I smiled. Maybe this is the start of something.... Something I've wanted for a really long time.
