'Shoot, now I've really messed up,' I scolded herself, thinking about the Hoover Dam accident. I shouldn't have read his mind. I have to blend in. Luckily, Percy just accepted it and continued his day. Annabeth, however, was harder to convince.
"How do you know that, about the spelling and Hoover Dam and-" She was cut off by Sally saying,"Good news, Sophie, Percy's school gave the all clear, so you can go to school with him and Annabeth!" I put on a fake smile, but, inwardly, I deflated.
'Great, another school for me to be called a freak at,' I thought sarcastically.
"Wait. What do you mean she'll go to school with us? She'll be, like, two grades below us," Percy asked confused.
Sally gave a warm smile, "Sophie's very gifted. She's incredibly smart. She went to high-school when she was twelve!"
Annabeth's grey eyes widened, "That's impossible!" She turned to me,"What's the square root of... 841.3?" Annabeth looked as if she was doing the math in her head.
Without thinking, I emediatly answered,"29.0051719526." I blushed when I saw everyone looking at me with amazed faces.

Sally told us it was time to go to bed. Percy showed me my room and went to his as Annabeth left. Before he went inside of his room he turned to me smiling,"Night, sis."

We went to our separate rooms and I crawled into my bed, still smiling from Percy's comment. My smile vanished, however, when a piercing pain shot through my head and I drifted into darkness.
