"I am so ready for tonight, after the week we had I think we damn well deserve it" Gen tells me as we step out of our last training session of the week, also our last session being graded for the roles of the gala. "Hell yeah we do, tonight's gonna be fun, and tomorrow is Daiz' actual birthday so that'll be fun" I tell her as we step into the street, "By the way, have you gotten her a gift yet?" I ask her and get my answer when her expression turns into one of horror "I completely forgot oh my gosh" she begins to panic, don't worry we'll go right now" I reassure her and on the way home we go buy each our gift for Daiz and then we head home to get ready for tonight.
We are not even one foot into the apartment when Daiz comes rushing at us "I'm so glad you're home, I need help deciding what to wear" she says as she rushes us into her room, which is a mess, clothes and shoes everywhere, makeup covering the whole desk along with other beauty products "I thought you had decided on the black skirt with the red lace top" I tell her seeing said clothes already on the floor, "yeah but then I found this pink silk dress I bought last year that I never got to use" she says as she takes the dress from the bed "I like that one better" Gen says and I nod my head in agreement.
She goes to the bathroom and a minute later comes out with a beautiful dress that reaches her mid tight and fits her perfectly, "that's the one" Gen says with her mouth half full of a cookie she had gotten while Daiz was changing, "You look so good" I tell her with a reassuring and she returns it, after throwing more compliments at her we go to change and I decide on some black leather pants with a sage green corset and my Doc Martens.
I keep my makeup light, because I know that when I get back I'll be too lazy to remove it. We all end up in Gen's room making our hair and makeup when the doorbell rings, since I'm the one who's ready I go to open them, knowing the guys are probably here so we can all head to the karaoke bar, I open the door just to see Kalen in all his glory "Hi" I say with a small smile, he's wearing a simple white t-shirt and some black jeans with a jean jacket on top, I look back to his eyes before he catches me checking him out just to realize he's doing the same, his eyes stay a little longer on my exposed stomach and then the small exposure of my boobs.
"You done?" I ask him making him look up back to my eyes, I see a small blush on his cheeks but don't mention it, he ignores my comment and just says "Dom and Ethan are coming up so we can go" he gives me one of his infamous smiles that catches me off guard but I quickly compose myself and instead return the smile and motion to the door "You wanna come in? Gen and Daiz are almost ready, in that moment Dom and Ethan walk down the hall, which I'm thankful for, because every time I am less able to keep myself together around Kalen, and it's becoming a problem.
After I let them all in and we wait for the girls to finish getting ready I just chat with Dom, while Ethan and Kalen discuss some football thing, they finally end getting ready and we all stand up to leave "let's go, we're gonna meet up with the rest once we're there" Daiz says taking her keys and putting them in her purse "Who else is coming?" Dom asks "What he means is if Alyssa is gonna be there" Ethan says with a knowing look but Dom just drops his head and starts blushing while the rest of us laugh.
