Dropping off Lottie at her apartment I make my way to the house, and start the ten minute walk, I have a car but I don't use it much to go to my classes since traffic in New York is brutal to the point where is faster to walk.

Halfway through there I encounter with Gen and Daiz who are chatting away and had chinese takeout in a bag.

They spot me first and approach me "Hey Kalen guess what" Daisy tells me excitedly "What's up" I shrug, not sure of what to 'guess' "Today they announced the roles for the gala and Gen got one of the big solos" She screams and Gen smiles, she had been working hard for that spot.

"That's amazing, congrats" I tell her genuinely "Who got the big solo?" I ask and they look me as if I were a ghost "You don't know?" Genevive is the first to speak and their question confuses me "No, should I?" And they nod "Lottie got the solo, she didn't tell you?" Daisy exclaims but then it's like she remembered something and her mouth shuts.

'Lottie probably told them about our "discussion"' I think to myself.

"No she didn't, which is strange because I just dropped her off" I think out loud "Well it probably slipped her mind, you know how she is" Daiz tells me as she shrugs it off.

After I congratulate Gen again we part ways and I head home, not without sending a text to Lottie congratulating her on the solo.

Arriving to the house is as mad as always, and I kinda have gotten used to it, there's always a group of boys playing some sort of Video Game in the living room, someone throwing passes to another person, etcetera.

But I like coming home to this, these guys are the closest thing I have to a family, and they are a pain in the ass sometimes, but I wouldn't change them for anything.

I make my way to the kitchen where Dom is cooking, as he usually is, because in a house of more than ten guys, he's the only one that can cook a proper meal without burning the whole place down.

"I have a question for you" he says as soon as I enter the kitchen, "What's up" I nod "Is it a good idea to tell someone you like them even if you don't know if they like you back?" and his question catches me off guard.

"Are you saying you like someone?" I question him instead "maybe" he shrugs.

"I don't think I'm the best person to give advice on this, maybe you should talk to Ethan" I tell him and as if on cue he enters the kitchen with a cookie in his mouth "ask me what" he says with his mouth still full.

"Well, Dom here has a crush on someone and he wants to know if he should tell them" I say before Dom can.

"I say go for it, when I asked Daiz out I didn't know if she liked me back, but look at us now" He says and I don't miss the smile that forms in Dom's lips at the thought of him being with the person he likes.
