The next day
-
It was about 12 in the afternoon, i had just had lunch and it was time for me and Adam to go on the pond to train.

I get all of my equipment on and i meet Adam downstairs. "Lets go sis!" He says happily, as he tugs on my arm while holding his skates in his other arm. I open the door and we begin walking over to the pond.

While walking over, i notice District 5 "training" when i say training i mean failing terribly. Sure, training yesterday was a success for most of us but damn Gordon needs to teach them how to skate. I see Goldberg whining to Charlie about something as everyone behind them trip over each other. "Wow what a bunch of sore losers" Adam says, putting on his skates. "Uh...yeah haha what woosies" i chuckle to myself in guilt. I tie my skates up and Adam and i make our way onto the ice.

Adam throws the puck onto the ice and we begin doing a quick warm up before getting into our scrimmages.

After practice

Adam and I sit down on the bench as we undo our skates and watch District 5 train horribly. I wave at Connie and she returns it with a small wave a smile. "You know her?" Adam asks. "Yeah, uh...we met yesterday when i was playing street hockey...we just kinda became friends" i say, half lying. Adam hums. Good, he brought it.

I look at the bottom of my skates and gently run my finger over the blades. Blunt. "Adam, tell mum and dad I'm going to Hans sports shop to get my skates sharpened later" i state. He nods in agreement. I look back over at District 5 to see Gordon picking up all of the team in a limo. He must be taking them somewhere. Damn, i would kill to be there right now, to be on a team where not everything revolves around winning. District 5 isn't about winning, its about having fun and actually enjoying the sport to its fullest...

If only my parents and Adam understood...
