My father was furious. "GO TO YOUR ROOM Y/N!" He yelps at me and i run to my room, slamming the door behind me.

Coaches game is on, so i put the livestream on tv to watch. The game had already began and i turned it on just at the right moment. Coach was on a breakaway, he triple dekes and scores. "Woop woop! Go coach!" I chant to myself happily. Damn! i missed playing.

Coach checked someone to the boards and he was trying to get the puck from between the other players skates, but all of a sudden, another player came out of nowhere and sandwiched Bombay into the boards, practically squishing Bombays legs into the boards. Coach falling down hurt, i stand up in worry. Oh no! Coach is hurt.

People surrounded him on the ice as he holds his knee in pain. I didn't want to watch anymore so i turn the TV off. I went downstairs to get some food, earning dirty death glares from my father and i look over to my mum who was looking down with a pitiful expression on her face. I felt bad for her, Father was treating her horribly, treating us all horribly.

Adam was still slightly mad at me but he had to get over it someday. Maybe joining the Ducks would benefit his hockey career.

After eating, I decided it was getting late and i should go to sleep.

The next day, i heard from the Ducks group chat that Coach was coming back today. I was really excited to see him again! Hopefully hockey season will start up again soon.

I was outside with Adam, watching him train as usual. I was reading a book while sat on a bench outside our house. We both got distracted by a quacking noise. It was The Ducks!

"Hey Y/N! Ready to play some hockey?!" Charlie asks and i nod, although i had to get through my dad first. "Hey Adam, is father letting you join the team?" I ask nervously. "Well, he's letting me try it out..." Adam says, leaning on his stick.

"Ill go ask him if I'm 'unbanned'!" I say sarcastically as i walk into the house. "Hey Dad! Im gonna play hockey!" I exclaim. "Fine! As long as Adam is with you" he yells. "Yeah whatever bye Dad, love you mum!" I shout and my mum shouts it in return.

Walking back outside with my bag, i nod my head happily. "I can play!" I exclaim happily.

"YAY!" Connie says running up to me and hugging me. "Hey Con! Its been a while" i say chuckling and she replies with "mhm! I missed you!"

I quickly put on my rollerblades and we follow Charlie to Coach. His leg seemed to be a little bit better. "COACH COACH COACH COACH!" We all chant as we all skate around him excitingly. "Hey Ducks! I really missed you! Ready to fly?" Coach asks and we all shout "YEAH!" In reply. All of a sudden, a limo drives up beside us and a grey-haired looking dude pops out the top of it.

"Hey Ducks I'm Don Tibbles! Head of Hendrix hockey appeal! Were your sponsors! Anyone want a card?" Don asks and we all decide we do want a card. I take my card and it explains all about the company. Los Angeles? Were going to Los Angeles to play?!
