Adam hasn't talked to me since earlier, he looked pretty upset that i said he's turning into our father. I didn't care though, he pissed me off. He can't control my life, yet he thinks he can.

We had quite the entrance. We walked into the LA rink like we were crashing a party. I felt so badass. Me, Julie and Connie were taking a bunch of photos and selfies and damn i felt alive.

_

We are all sat in the changing rooms, getting changed into our gear while Coach gives us his usual inspirational speech before our games.

I was excited for our first game as Team U.S.A!

We make our way onto the bench where we get fired up. It wasn't our traditional quacking though.

"Okay team! Lets do this!" Coach yells as i make my way onto the ice.

We were up against Trinidad and we had complete control over this game. We were up 5-0.

Adam had the puck and i was hitting my stick on the ice to signalise i was open, he looks up at me but doesn't pass. Instead he passes the puck over to Charlie, who passes to me before getting clattered into the boards. Ouch.

Without even thinking, i receive the puck, wrap around the Trinidad players and shoot at the goal.

I didn't even realise i scored until half of the people in the bleachers started going crazy and everyone on the team jumped up from their seats. I scored!

Charlie, Averman, Dwayne and Jesse came over and we did our group hug, Adam stayed out of it. It must have felt awkward to be so new to the team and have everyone hate you, but everyone was distracted by the new players to take any notice of Adam. Once everyone had skated back to the bench Adam tapped me on the head with his glove to say 'well done.'

Our line got seated back on the bench as the second line took their places on the ice. We won the puck yet again and started skating up the ice towards the away goal.

Guy passes the puck over to Connie who scores. "YES!" I celebrate that one of my best-friends had also got their first goal of the season. "Man, my little brother could score on these guys!" I hear a quite irritating voice say from above me. "Why don't you go bother him then?" Jesse says from behind me, clearly annoyed.

I look behind me to see a short kid, well, only just shorter than me. "Hah! I don't even have a little brother!" The annoying boy says sarcastically. Jesse rolls his eyes while i flash the boy a death glare which he chuckles at.

"Y/N! Im giving you extra ice time! Quit talking to him and get out on the ice!" Coach says and The kid mocks him. "Thanks Coach!" I grin as i jump over the wall. "Go Y/N!" Fulton and Dean chant as i skate to the Centre for the face off.

I won the face off and i hustle down the ice with the puck, dodging all the players the tried to poke-check or slash me. All of a sudden, one of the Trinidad players slide towards me, from the side, causing me to trip over him. It pissed me off even more than i was. I pull myself up and i sprint over to the dude who tripped me up and push him. The whistle was blown and i got escorted to the penalty box. "He got my bad G!" The annoying kid from earlier says from the other side of the glass. I roll my eyes and look at our bench to see Fulton and Dean going crazy about what i just did. I chuckle to myself as the ref brings my stick over to me.

It was now Fulton and Deans shift and they were hitting players left, right and centre. The Trinidad players where all knocked onto the floor and we ended up getting a breakaway and scoring. "LET GO DUCKS!" I yell from the penalty box.

My penalty ended and i jump out of the penalty box. I ended up joining Fulton and Dean with checking people and before long we were known as 'The Bash Siblings'.

We ended up winning 7-0 and it was now time to get ready to go out with Charlie.
