Y'all!! I read a WILD fanfic few hours ago and!!! My 🐱 felt 🦋 (lmao does it make sense?) 😏 Anyhoops, continue reading, lol.
MACKENZIE'S POV
I woke up in my dorm room, in the middle of the night. I still have a slight headache and feeling of dizziness is completely gone.
Did I really do it? Will he understand now? Or was it all a waste? My mind drifted to Myrtle. How sorry I feel for her. Had I known earlier, I would have never let that happen. But then it hit me, I can still do it! I got up and walked towards the door when I heard Aimee call my name.
" Where are you going?"
"Common room, I've been asleep for a few hours now, I don't feel like sleeping again." I lied."Are you okay? You were asleep when I came back, you didn't even have dinner."
Dinner, I completely forgot about it.
"Yes Aimee, all good. Go to sleep."I walked downstairs, making sure no one else was here before I took the time turner out. Good thing, I still haven't returned it. I secured it around my neck, spinning it a few times going back to the day when Tom did the unforgivable sin.
My surroundings stopped spinning, letting me know that I successfully time travelled to the past. I rushed to the Great Hall. I saw her that day having dinner with the rest of us. So whatever happened was after our meals. I saw myself inside talking to Abraxas, Tom sending a smile to Myrtle. Then he has the audacity to kill the poor girl.
Bastard!
Myrtle walked out, Tom following soon enough. I hid behind the pillar, but close enough to watch them and listen to them.
"Evening, there." Tom spoke first. "Hello. Good evening."
"I was looking for you." A polite tone, something I didn't get used to so quickly.
"Really? How can I help you, Riddle?" She adjusted her glasses. "Please. Call me Tom. I came by to return these books I borrowed." He held three books out.
"Oh yes! Did you read them already?"
"They were so astonishing. Kept me up all night. You've got impeccable taste, I must say." He walked closer to her and continued. "Merlin! Have you been crying, dear?"
"Well, there were some girls. Wouldn't stop making fun of me, my glasses and even my taste in books. I appreciate you saying you admire my taste, Tom. I was just headed to the girls' lavatory to splash some water on my face." She answered wiping her face with her sleeves.
"Who would want to hurt you? May I walk you to the girls' lavatory? If you don't mind."
"Of course. Off we go." She said and walked upstairs with Tom.
I slowly followed them. Myrtle walked inside the lavatory and as soon as she disappeared, I moved from my hiding spot. "Tom!" I called out before he could enter, catching his attention.
"Macy? What are you doing here?"
"This is the girls' lavatory. What are you doing here?"
"Nothing."
"Hm, sure." I walked towards him, slowly pushing him against the wall. "You make me want to kiss you over and over again." With that, I smashed my lips against his, catching him off guard. While he was still processing it, I slipped out my wand and stepped back, aiming it at him. I had flashbacks from when he did the same to me at his father's place.
"What are you-"
"Imperio!" He closed his eyes at the spell I threw at him. "You will leave Myrtle alone. You won't kill her or any other muggle born students, won't petrify any students, you won't ever get near the basilisk again. Understand, love?"
