**This is from Serkan's POV only, I will try for Eda's POV next.**

Serkan sat at home with his hands over his face as image after image of his life with Eda played before his eyes. He can't believe all that has happened in the last 2 months, how he had been so foolish to even listen to much less believe Selin. She played him for a fool from the moment he contacted her and he fell into her trap with his eyes wide open. He did not recognize the man she told him he was, love and marriage, were not meant for him, marriage maybe but only for social purposes because that's what his relationship with Selin was about. He didn't know what love was, he had never received it much less felt it. He was all work.

Then he decided to return to Istanbul and his life. He was prepared to end Eda Yildiz and all her mind playing games. He was determined to put her in her place the minute he saw her to let her know he had woken up and would no longer be falling for her manipulative games. But when he walked in and she walked up to him his heart jumped and his breath caught. He couldn't talk, she was stunningly beautiful and the way she looked at him was full of love and admiration. His body trembled actually trembled, that has never happened to him in his entire life. He was ALWAYS in control but at that moment he was not and he didn't like it one bit. He had to get her away from him and out of his office and holding as soon as possible, Selin had told him everything how Eda had blindsided him with her beauty and turned him into an emotional man. She had made them lose clients and had ran Selin off. She was a horrible and selfish person that only thought about herself.

Every day Serkan said and did the most hurtful things to Eda hoping to make her give him her shares and leave. He knew that he left her on their wedding day for work when his plane crashed. He couldn't help but think that it was fate keeping him from making a big mistake. He saw her tears and the hurt in her eyes and at times he could feel her heart breaking but that's what he wanted, right?

As the days passed things were not feeling right in his mind but especially his heart. He noticed how hard she worked at the company and holding and how things were handled meticulously while he was away, just like he would. He had to admire her for that. He also noticed how all of his employees looked at Eda with love and respect and then how they looked at Selin with disgust and resignation. He had been having flashes of memories for a few days and feelings connected to these memories were starting to form. He felt complete and connected to her, Eda not tricked or used. He felt loved and loved her in return, but was it real?

When his memories returned he felt like the biggest asshole and jerk on the planet. He knew he hurt Eda but he also knew he LOVED her and wanted the life they dreamed of, TOGETHER!!

It had been over a week since his phone conversation with Eda, she hadn't called him and although he desperately wanted to  he hadn't called her. He wanted to fly to Australia and if he had to he would search in every corner of the continent to find her, but he wanted to respect her wishes even if it killed him inside. He spent his days at the company working non stop but not talking to anyone unnecessarily. He went home late and walked Sirius to all the places that he and Eda used to go together. He wanted the memories to remind him of his mistakes and all the pain he caused to the one he loved more than anything.

One night he sat on his couch, Sirius whimpering in his lap when his phone rang, Eda's name appeared on his phone. He lost his breath and fumbled with his phone before answering it with a "Hi."
