The Alpha Will Punish

Iris's POV

Someone pulled me up by my injured arm and woke me from my slumber. The car had stopped. I groaned as my skull and wrist throbbed in union. How long had I been out?

All I saw was black. Alarmed, I blinked rapidly and tried to regain my sight. Just as I began to panic, I remembered the blindfold.

I stood up on my feet and the men immediately began walking, dragging me along with them, dragging me to my doom. I tried to resist by digging my heels into the ground, but they slid along uselessly.

"Get ready to jump." A guard whispered in my ear. Not able to stop them, I bent my knees and braced my self. Suddenly, they pounced and pulled me with them. They landed gracefully on their feet as I felt the ground rush up to me. The men gripped my upper arms as I landed on my knees. Small rocks and pebbles dug into my legs, but I didn't attempt to get up.

I flinched as the Alphas strong voice erupted through the silence. "What is she doing?! Get her up!" I cringed as the guards pulled me to my feet, where I stood waiting for my punishment, but none came. I relaxed slightly. Usually people slapped me for the stupidest things, tripping, mispronouncing words, sitting, standing, talking, and anything that slightly provoked them.

I felt the alphas presence beside my face. His breath smelt of alcohol and coffee. "We're entering wolf territory now, and if you try anything, and I mean anything, your going to regret it." He growled in my ear. "Do you understand me?"

I nodded and felt a lump starting to form in my throat. This was it. This is were I end.

Trying not to cry and plead for mercy, I let the guards pull me forward.
