a/n: thank you for over 200 reads!!!!! That's crazy. Anyways, sorry for not uploading much this weekend, but I was with my bio mom for mothers day. Also, my dance team made it to state this year, so I'll be busy preparing for that, so sorry if I don't post much the next few weeks.

Y/N's POV:

I woke up to the sound of my parents bickering and looked over to see that Emily was no longer on the bed or even in the room with me. I just closed my eyes for another few minutes and willed Emily to crawl back into bed with me, but sadly it didn't work. After about 10 minutes I realized that my parents weren't going away and Emily wasn't coming back. I finally opened my eyes all the way and looked up at my biological mom, step mom and dad who were all bickering slightly louder than a whisper. After about 30 seconds of shock while watching them, my dad finally noticed I was awake and ran over to the side of my bed. "Baby, are you okay?" He asked, basically pleading.

"I'm fine Dad, I promise." I said looking up at him and smiling, thankfully I was still a little doped up on morphine, so this was a little more tolerable than usual.

"Sweetheart, what happened?" My biological mother asked while walking over to the opposite side of my bed where my dislocated shoulder was.

"It was Ryan, I forgot, I don't know how, but the day Eli went missing was the same day Leo got pneumonia in boot camp and was on the phone with me all day. He blamed Leo and me for Eli and, you can see how that went." I laughed, as I looked at the sorrow on my parent's faces, "Guys, I'm okay. You lucked out in the kid department mom, and ended up with two of them who are really good at their jobs, that just so happen to be taking down awful people, like Ryan."

"You wouldn't think it by how much he snores." My step mom laughed while looking over at Leo and Lay who were still asleep on the couch.

"I know," my bio mom joked while actually laughing with my dad and his wife, "I do wonder though, why he didn't go after Leo as well."

"Did he not tell you...?" I asked wearily.

"Tell me what?" My mom asked with concern and anger rising within her.

"He was kind of taken too... Not for long and he wasn't hurt as bad, but... no one told you guys?" I confessed hesitantly.

I watched as my mom marched over to Leo and gently woke Lay up and whispered, "Hey Lay-Lay. How's my girl?"

"Grandma!" She exclaimed as she woke up and hugged her tightly.

"Hi sweet girl, I love you, but can we talk later? I need to talk to your dad." She said, trying to keep her temper under control, but I couldn't resist laughing. I always found it funny when he was about to get in trouble and didn't know.

"Why's he in trouble? Auntie only ever laughs like that when he's in trouble, and you only call me sweet girl when you're secretly angry." Lay laughed as she analyzed us.

"Okay little profiler, damn, trust me, you'll be able to overhear why he's in trouble from across the hospital, just wait." I laughed while I showed how impressed I was with her.

"Hey, don't tempt me." She laughed as she got up and walked out towards the waiting room.

As soon as she was out of the room, my mom shook Leo up until he finally said, "Hey mom, where'd my kid go?"

"I have a better question. Where'd my kid go?!!?! You didn't tell me he took you too! I think I have a right to know if both of my kids have been kidnapped by one of my crazy ex roommates!" My mom fumed.
