I jumped off the roof and landed on the hard ground. Pain shot up my legs and I made a mental note never to do that again. I limped to the railing and looked down as all the teachers ran to the gate. A strange man was clawing at the gate and growling hungrily at the teachers as they approached. God their so stupid. This is probably what they were thinking, Hmmm, Who is that strange man who looks like an animal with rabies? Well we better get closer and see what he wants. Oh look he's trying to bite us and get in! Let's still get closer. He seems so harmless- OW! He bite me! Oh he probably didn't mean to. Let us all get closer and open the gate. Like I said, Stupid idiots. (Warning: If you have gotten this far let me warn you that in order for me to tell this story I have to describe what happened in vivid details. So I may curse alot or describe the bloody corpses in a disgusting way. So please don't get all pissy if you read a bad word or something disgusting. This is a warning for you all so just a heads up) Anyways, The man suddenly jumped on top of the P.E teacher and began to tear her skin apart. Her screams were horrible. Blood was flying everywhere as she tried to get away from the man. Suddenly, The gate slammed shut and the zombie man looked up. He saw the principle and grabbed him. He repeated the pattern. Flesh everywhere and skin flying. Bloody screams as everyone got the news that they were to evacuate. I just laughed and walked away from the crime. It was time to kick some zombie butt. First I had to find my life in crime partner Henry. I ran down all the stairs and saw the halls flooding with students trying to run away. A girls scream stopped everyone in their tracks.
"There's one coming this way! Run in the opposite direction!" She screamed.
Fuck. Everyone was running towards me like stampedes. Do I have to do everything? I slid down the railing as they all ran up the stairs. I saw Henry in the crowds. It was easy to spot him. He has black hair, is really tall, and has olive tan skin. I somersalted off the end of the railing and landed in front of him.( Yeah, I know, I'm so talented. I took gymnastics. )
"Come on. We need to find your friends." I said and dragged him away.
He gulped and told me about the evacuation. I know it was rude of me but I laughed in his face.
"Dude, You remember when I told you why I transferred to this school?" I said and dodged students.
"Yeah. You said something about zombies. Why?" He asked.
"Well, you promised to help me didn't you?" I said and grabbed another baseball bat.
"Yeah why do- Oh no. You were serious? I thought it was a joke! Anyways, zombies aren't....Real." He paused and pointed to the dead P.E teacher that was coming this way.
I gripped my baseball bat and smiled. I'll show them how it's done. I ran forward and swung. The head was gone! Blood shot everywhere and it stained my clothes as the veins from the neck poured out onto the floor. The body fell to the ground. I heared Henry yelp and run to me.
"What the hell are you doing?" He asked and looked scared.
"It's real. This isn't a nightmare or a game. If you get bitten or die then your fucked." I said and walked farther down the hallway.
"Where are you going?" He hissed and ran to keep up.
"Where do you think? We're going to find your friends." I said and peeked into an empty classroom.
"We?" He said.
"Henry, friends stick together. Now where are their classes?" I asked and raised my bat as we turned the corner.
"They have different classes. Let's find Matt first since he has a class down this hallway. I'm sure he made it out of the school though so we should just go." Henry said and turned around.
"Pussy." I mumbled under my breath.
"I am not! Fine, I'll help." Henry said and led the way.
I grinned and skipped after him. He was shaking alot and I felt bad for him. I put my hand on his shoulder and he flinched.
"Henry, don't be scared. Wait what am I saying? There are zombies everywhere! Look, I'm here and I won't let anything happen to us." I said and grinned.
He looked even more scared than ever. I guess my words didn't help. I apologized and we continued to walk until we saw Matt. I knew he would stay put. He ran to us and grinned with relief.
"I knew you guys would come for me." Matt said and flipped his bangs out of his eyes.
Matt isn't that tall but he's average size for his age. He has white skin and has black straight hair that covers his eyes. His dark brown eyes are almost black and thats what alot of girls like about him. I just nodded as Henry bragged that he was brave and made sure that we came for him. I rolled my eyes and listened for the zombies. There weren't any... That's weird. Oh no! I knew something like this might happen.
"So, Katie. Um...Well thanks for coming for me." Matt said.
"Shhhhh. Do you hear that?" I asked.
They shook their heads as silence filled the air.
"Exactly. Matt, have you ever seen any zombie videos?" I asked.
Matt's eyes widened and he shook his head.
"No way!" He said and turned pale.
We all stopped in our tracks as the roar of zombies came our way. A high pitched scream that sounded way too familiar. It was Marry. Also known as Henry's girlfriend who I hate as much as I hate cheerleaders, which is a lot. She ran up to us and began to panic. We all looked up and saw the zombies running towards us like a stamped. Marry screamed and we all ran for our lives. It was as we were running that a memory I wanted to forget flooded my mind. The air was hot and sticky. It was just me and Henry walking down the darken streets towards my house. Matt had gone home sooner than us. Henry was wearing his usual black jeans and a t-shirt. I was wearing black shorts and a black tight shirt. We were walking close together when his hand grazed mine and he told me that we would be together forever. That made my heart quicken for some reason. I thought that we would be together forever too. We were. For about a week. Until Marry transferred to our school. They started to go out and when I saw them together, my heart broke. I hated it. After a while, it was unbearable. I had invited Henry to the movies with me and he invited Marry. When she got picked up we had to walk together. It started to rain. While we walked we got into a big fight. Then I said the words I regret:
"When you said we would be together forever, I thought you meant until we died. I guess forever isn't as long as it used to be...is it?"
Henry looked at me with so much range that he slapped me. It was the worst day in my life. We had stopped talking to each other for a month before we simply forgot about it.
My mind snapped back into focus. I made a sharp turn and crashed into a big crowd of zombies.

I froze. The zombie I had crashed into groaned loudly and snapped its bloody teeth at me. I was about to tip toe away when-
"AH! WHAT IS THAT? RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!" Marry shouted.
"Stupid Bitch!" I shouted and ran in the opposite direction.
Our feet pounded on the bloody school floor as we tried to get away from the out stretched hands. Marry was crying as she complained about how her shoes hurt her while I shouted at her for giving away our cover. Henry was shouting at me for yelling at her and Matt yelled at him for yelling at me. It was a yelling battle! I turned a sharp corner and slipped in the blood. I landed hard on my butt and bit my lip. Blood shout out of it and I got up and continued to run. Marry was laughing at me so I tripped her with my baseball bat. Henry yelled at me so he carried her on his back. It slowed us down."There! An empty classroom! Hurry!" Matt told us and ran in.
We all ran into the room and slammed the door closed. I locked it and gasped for breath. I gasped as I turned around. I raised my baseball bat and swung it. There were five dead people in here! Matt killed two while I killed three. We all fell on the ground and stayed away from the doors. The zombies were banging into them and we could hear the creaking. The doors wouldn't hold for long. We were on the second floor. We needed to get out of here and quick. The only problem is that we're blocked. I curled my legs up into my chest and rested my cheek on my knee. I was day dreaming until I saw Matt staring at me with a weird smile.
"W-What? Do I have something on me?" I asked and rubbed my face.
"Huh? Oh no, you don't have anything it's just that..." Matt looked away.
I got up and leaned on the board. We had to get out. NOW. I told them to hurry up and get their stuff together. I opened the window and leaned out.
"What the hell are you doing? There is no way that I am going out there!" Marry said
