 "I'm hungry!" Mary complained.
"Shut up you cow." I said.
We have been walking for five hours straight. Lucky, we didn't have to deal with any zombies. I sighed and felt my stomach growl. Everyone else seemed to be starving as well. I ran a hand through my greasy hair and made a face. I needed a shower.
"You guys, keep and eye out. I know you're hungry and so am I but don't let your guard down." I said.
They nodded and looked around. I looked to my left and stopped. I squinted my eyes and let out a squeak.
"Look!" I exclaimed.
They all smiled and we ran. It was a store. Not only did they have food but they had shelter! I didn't realize how dangerous this way until I had to stop in my tracks. A bunch of zombies were walking around, circling the store. I was losing my footing. Matt grabbed me by my shirt and pulled me back. I heard a rip and I gasped. I felt the cold air hit my bare skin. Now my bra was on display. I felt a blush spread up my face as everyone stared. I cleared my throat and pulled my shirt up. I tried to cover it but it wasn't helping. Hopefully they had clothes in the store.
"How are we going to get through the dead?" Matt asked.
I looked around. A door that led to the back of the store was opened a bit. There was a figure there, waving their hand. They peeked out and waved us over again. I gulped and stared.
"We run like hell." I said, tying my shoes tighter.
They looked at me as if I had lost my mind. I gripped a rock and told them to run as fast as they could to the door. I would go after them as soon as possible. They nodded and tried climbing closer. I took a deep breath and threw the rock. It landed on a car and the window broke. The zombies all looked at it and dragged themselves over to it. We all took off running until we reached the door. The man let us in and closed it tight. We thought we were safe until we heard a groan coming from behind us. One of them was trying to get in. I swung my bat and smashed its head. The door closed and we were safe.

"Who the hell are they?" A women asked.
"Kids that needed help." The man said.
I looked around and saw the small little group. A man with pale skin and brown eyes, a women with long blond hair and blue eyes, a little boy that looked about seven or eight, an older man who looked angry, and lastly an older man who looked about in his mid twenties.
I scoffed and crossed my hands over my chest. They had a child with them and they survived? Amazing.
"Why are you here?" The women asked.
"To find a place to crash. We also need food. If you don't mind of course." I said.
"Well we do mind!" The old man said.
I glared at him and pulled my shirt. It was still ripped and I wanted to fix it. I looked up when a door opened. The man who helped us stood there. He had a box of food and water. I smiled and walked up to him. He handed me some food and I thanked him. The other members looked angry at him.
"Whoa. Calm down! We'll help protect this place if you help us." I said.
"How? You're nothing but a bunch of kids." The man said.
I grabbed a knife that was laying on the table near me and threw it. It landed on the wall just inches away from the old man's face. They all gasped as the man turned pale.
"What the hell?" The women shouted at me.
"I have a small temper. If I'm willing to kill a living human then I'm sure as hell willing to kill a dead person." I said, leaning again the table.
They all looked at each other and Matt grinned.
"Fine." The women said, walking away.
I walked over to the old man and yanked the knife out of the wall. I put it in my pocket and winked. Just in case. The little boy smiled at me and I patted his head. The room felt cold and I shivered. The women with blond hair told me to take off my shirt for her to sew it. I was fine with that but I stood away from everyone else. I saw a little cot in corner and I gladly took it. My head had just hit the soft comfortable cot when I heard the boy scream. I shot up and ran, gripping the bat close to me. The boy had a dead man on him! The walker was groaning and snapping it's teeth at him while the boy cried. I cried out and the dead man looked up. I swung my bat and the head came off. Blood splattered on the boy's face and he screamed. I dragged him out and quickly wiped off the blood. I checked him and he wasn't bitten. I sighed and looked around. The lady in blond ran to the boy and grabbed him. I walked back to the cold room and sat down. The sound of rain made me groan. At least we had shelter. I put my head on my knees and sighed. I hoped things didn't get worse.
