I heard a loud bang and my eyes shot opened. Matt jumped up and pulled his shirt on. I blushed and looked away. He really was cute. Mary got to her feet and backed into the corner. The lady with blond hair came into the room and grabbed my arm. I yelped as she pulled me into the main room. The front door was being banged into. I could hear the groans of the dead people, begging to be let in. I gulped and looked at everyone. They were all pushed against the doors and windows. I grabbed my baseball bat and looked at them.
"Don't tell me we have to evacuate." I gulped.
They nodded and one of them fell as a big thud came from the door. I looked at it and one of the nails holding the boards up fell to the floor.
"Get everyone. We need to evacuate before this door breaks down." The old man said.
I nodded and looked at Henry. He had a screw driver in his hand. I laughed and shook my head. He looked at me and smiled. I was glad he wasn't upset with me.
"No time for fooling around. Tell them to go into the back room and bust open the window. We can get out from there." The lady said.
"What's you name anyways?" I asked.
"It's Amy. That old man is Harold. The little kid is Mac and that other women is his mom. Her name is Gwen. The man who let you in, he's Brad." Amy explained.
It was going to be a lot easier remembering their names. I nodded and Henry went back to the room. He peeked out and made sure no zombies were in the alley way. He busted the screen and caught it before it fell. I sighed with relief and told the little kid to go with them. Matt climbed out first and then Mary. Henry climbed out after and held the little kid. Amy ran and jumped out. Gwen ran from the door and into the room. She took the longest and hugged her kid. Matt kept a look out and looked pale. Brad went next and he stared at the door. For an old guy, Harold sure could handle the door. He ran and the door fell in. The zombies ran to us and I slammed the door. Harold was taking his time!
"Rot in hell bitch." He said and closed the window glass.

I stood there shocked. I wouldn't have enough time to get the window open. Matt was cursing at Harold and Henry was trying to get the window open. The door pounded against my back and I winced. Henry popped open the window and I ran. I was halfway out when I felt a hand. I kicked and fell down on my elbow. I heard a pop and I bit my lip. I tasted blood as I tried not to scream. I had popped my elbow! They helped me out and we ran to the woods. I wanted to cry but I kept it in until we were far enough. I let out a loud scream.
"Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!" I shouted.
I didn't want to look at my arm.
"How bad is it?" I asked Henry.
He turned pale and turned around. Matt looked at it and gulped.
"I think I can see your bone popping out." Matt said.
I wanted to faint. I looked at it and shook my head. Mac looked at me and he looked green.
"Turn around kid. I'm about to do something that I don't want to do." I said, grimacing.
He turned around and covered his ears. I took a deep breath and everyone looked at me. I popped my bone back in and screamed in agony.
"That was wicked." Matt said, smiling.
Mary ran to a bush and began to throw up. Amy looked sick. Gwen was shaking her head, trying to shake out the sound of my bone popping back into place. I gave her an apologizing smile and kept walking. I glared at Harold and he glared back.
"Fucking Harold." I said and laughed.
He flicked me off and I wagged my finger in his face.
"If you were smart, you would keep your finger to yourself. You wouldn't want to lose it." I said in a grown up voice.
He turned red and looked like he was going to explode with anger. I laughed and skipped away. Matt grinned at me and stood in front of me.
"You are evil you know that." He said.
"And proud." I said, sticking my tongue out.
The sun was barely rising and I felt my stomach growl. Then it hit me. I turned around and looked at everyone.
"You guys wouldn't have happened to grab food on the way out did you?" I asked.
They all realized it too. Amy let out a big groan and stomped her foot. I knew it.
"We're going to die out here!" Mac said, falling onto the ground.
"Get up and stop being dramatic." Gwen said.
Mary came back, wiping her mouth. Her eyes were a bit watery.
"We have a bigger problem. What about shelter?" She asked.
"That's true. We can't just walk down the road of every hours. We could come across a zombie mob. We need a new shelter." I said.
"Maybe a farm?" Brad said.
I looked at him like he was crazy. Where would we find a farm? He laughed and pointed to a big billboard. Organic Farm, a mile away.
"You are amazing!" Mary said and hugged him.
I rolled my eyes and kept walking.
"Good job." I said.
We walked into the empty road and looked. A couple of scattered cars laid in the road. Which meant that there were walkers near by. We would have until sundown to get to that farm.
