Mary: y/n hurry up our window isn't that big!

30 minutes to be precise grab the case with his weapon in it.

Y/n: good enough.

Y/n took the kitten and placed her on top of his head, and placed the top hat on top of Umbrella

Y/n: please don't use me as your temperley litter box?

The silence concerned y/n a bit but Mary as insistent

Mary: 26 minutes!

Y/n: I'm coming!

He left but before he went through the door way he went to his desk and grabbed the chain of lockets and hooked them around his waist and left the room

They walked out and saw a bullhead in the garden. The door opened to show an exhausted messy brown haired woman wearing oval shaped glasses over her pale blue eyes with a black cigarette with a blue outline hanging out her mouth

Mary: this is Evelyn, a good friend of mine who lives in Atlas.

Evelyn: oh I wouldn't exactly call us friends.

Mary: Evelyn not now-

Evelyn: friends actually keep in contact, not ghost them for months and call when there busy to take time out of their already pretty busy schedule to make scythe rifles , and have them " risk their jobs "to sneak them into Atlas.

Evelyn seemed pretty upset about this and seemed pretty busy at the time of this favour

Mary: alright I'm sorry! what do you want me to say!?

Evelyn: how about instead of apologize how about a THANK YOU!

Mary: thank you.

Evelyn took a puff of her cigarette blowing what looked like ice crystals out from her breath and smiled at the two, a simple thank you can go a long way

Evelyn: your welcome, now get in.

Y/n and Mary got in the back of the bullhead. Y/n took of his hat a plopped Infront of him

Y/n: you can come out now.

Umbra crawled out from the hat and into y/n's lap

Mary: you brought her with you.

Y/n: I couldn't just leave her alone.

Mary: ok but she's your responsibility when we get there.

Y/n nods and hid focus went back to Umbra and start petting her head

Y/n chuckled while continuing to to pet her while looking out the window.
