My Jedi Academia: Season Two (MHA X Star Wars)

Chapter One - New Challenges

Days have passed since the attack on the USJ Facility. The arrival of the League Of Villains as well as the return of the Sith have created an aura of uncertainty within Hero Society. In light of these uncertain times, both the Jedi and the Hero Association work together to maintain peace and stability. Since the USJ attack, both the Sith and the League Of Villains have been silent as of late. As all this happened, classes resumed in the Jedi Academy. As the Jedi Initiates of Class 001 waited in their classroom, Professor Huyang entered the classroom. 

Huyang: Good morning, Initiates! I hope you're having a splendid day! Before we get started, I have an announcement to make.

Gungi: <What kind of announcement?>

Huyang: This year, the Jedi Academy will be participating in the UA Sports Festival! 

Upon hearing this, the Initiates of Class 001 were shocked as well as confused. 

Katooni: The UA Sports Festival? I thought it was strictly for UA?

Huyang: You are correct, young Katooni. However, Master Yoda and UA's Principal Nezu have discussed this matter and decided that it would be good for both institutions to participate in this years Sports Festival. 

Zatt: This is pretty big, guys! The UA Sports Festival is only one of the most watched events in the country. 

Ganodi: Is it really a good idea for UA to be holding the Sports Festival after what happened at the USJ? What if the League of Villains or the Sith attack? 

As Ganodi raised that concern to the class, most of the students began to share Ganodi's concern. The only one who didn't share that concern was Petro. Huyang soon addressed Ganodi's concerns. 

Huyang: Your concerns are valid, young Ganodi. But measures have been taken by both UA and the Jedi Academy to ensure the security of the Sports Festival as well as the safety of all attendants, participants and spectators alike. The Sports Festival is a tremendous opportunity for you all. All Jedi classes will be attending. You will be scouted by the various masters of our academy. Depending on your performance, you will asked to become an apprentice to one of the masters. 

Upon hearing this, a sense of excitement was in the air. The idea that they could possibly train under a Jedi Master excited them greatly. With that announcement made, class resumed as scheduled. They worked on meditation in the morning followed by Lightsaber training. After a long day, class was finished. As the Initiates exited the classroom, they were encountered another Jedi Class. 

Girl: These are the students who faced off against the Sith at the USJ? I'm not exactly impressed.

Boy: Go easy on them, Kalifa. The fact that they're here tells us all we need to know. Remember what Master Ka....Kyle said. Appearances aren't everything. 

Kalifa: I think Kyle's wrong on this one. 

Petro: The hell's that supposed to mean?

As Petro got agitated by Kalifa's comments, the boy steps in.

Boy: Let's not get off on the wrong foot. I'm Jaden Korr. These are my classmates, Rosh Penin, Jinx, O-Mer and you've already met Kalifa. 

Katooni: You're from Class 002, if I'm not mistaken. 

Rosh: Yeah. Our teacher's Kyle Katarn. Maybe you've heard of him? 

Petro: We've heard of Kyle Katarn. They say he's a top notch Jedi. 

O-Mer: You'll have to forgive Rosh. He can be a bit....excitable. Master Katarn is an extraordinary teacher as is yours if what we've been hearing is correct. 

???: I told you to call me Kyle. 

As the voice called out, Jedi Master Kyle Katarn entered the hallway, the Jedi Initiates of Class 002 bowed their heads to the Jedi Master. When Kyle directed his attention onto Class 001, they bowed their heads to him. 

Katarn: You must be Professor Huyang's students. I heard about what happened with the Sith. I would've showed up, but I had my hands tied with some arms dealers down in Hosu City. You faced down against the Sith and came out alive. Not bad for first years. 

Petro: One of your students don't seem to share that thought apparently.

Katarn: Kalifa still has a lot to learn. We may be essentially rival classes, but we're all training to be Jedi. Now I'm sure Professor Huyang has already told you about the Sports Festival. 

Katooni: We're ready to give it our all, Master Katarn. 

Katarn: Call me Kyle. I never like being called Master. Every class in this academy including my own will be attending this event. And since you're the top class at the academy, that means you'll have a lot of competition gunning for you. That means you'll have to give it your all. 

As Kyle said this, it was clear that the Sports Festival was not going to be an easy challenge. Not only that, but with them being the top class in the Jedi Academy, all eyes would be on them.

Katarn: I suggest you take them time to train. Every Jedi Initiate in this academy will do the same. 

Katooni: We understand, Master Ka...I mean Kyle. 

Katarn: Then I won't waste anymore of your time. Class, let's head to the training field! It's time I trained you for the Sports Festival. We have a lot of work ahead of us. 

With that, Kyle leads Class 002 to the training field. In that moment, the Jedi Initiates of Class 001 knew what could come their way. They would heed Kyle Katarn's advice and take the time to train themselves for the Sports Festival.
