Just Between You and Me

Sleepy

Derek's POV:
I unlock the door to the apartment at 11:37pm. I gently close it and put down the keys on the table. I knew Penelope would be asleep by now so I put down all my stuff in the living room floor and took off my jacket and put gun belt on the kitchen table.
I silently open the door to a dark room with a peaceful Penelope sleeping in my white tank top and her pink sleep shorts. She moved in her sleep to my side of the bed and her hair is in her face.
I can't help but smile. I hear her slightly snoring as she always does. I walk over to her and sit beside her on the bed. I brush her hair off her face and place a hand on her side. She slowly wakes, still a little groggy. "Hey Baby Girl."
She rolls over and rubs her eye. She smiles. I smile back,"Did I wake you?" "Oh no, I was just in the middle of a wonderful dream and you ruined it." I get on top of her, between her legs, and nibble on her neck. She giggles and wraps her arms around my neck.
I stop and kiss her deeply. She puts her hand on the back of my neck and I stop after a while. "Glad your back Baby Boy." I smile and say,"Im just happy to see you baby." I kiss her one last time and fall asleep with her.
