A few minutes after they left the hotel the two arrived at the Cancer Café. Y/N had a slight fear of this place, but most of him held a laugh at the ridiculous name. Charlie noticed him seeing the sign.

"Don't worry, they don't give you cancer or anything like that. I honestly can't remember why they called it that" she said, slightly assuring her date. They both entered and sat at a table. They ordered and talked while they waited for their food. "So, what are your hobbies Y/N? We really haven't gotten on a normal level" she asked, and Y/N thought for a moment. Just a moment to gather his hobbies he had previously done every day before getting dragged to Hell.

"I liked to (insert hobbies here), and while I am good at it apparently, singing is not one of my hobbies" Y/N said, referring to the one night where he slightly opened up at the piano, then was rudely interrupted by Reaper.

"Oh that's cool! I thought you had to have liked singing at least at one point in your life" she said, a little bit shocked at how singing was not on Y/N's list of hobbies.

"Yeah, well not really. Whenever I got bored I sang from time to time, Nifty was honestly the first person to hear me" he elaborated, slowly opening his secrets. He felt relief he was able to talk a lot more about stuff he kept to himself usually. However that one dark part of his mind began to grow at this positive thought, pondering the inevitable moment about his questionable immortality Reaper brought up, which would then unravel his big secret. The chain that held him down in the dark abyss of hate. He tried to ignore this and live in the moment.

"Really? I could tell you were a little bit shy, but not revealing a great talent of yours?" Charlie said, and right after she spoke they got their food. They thanked the server who simply shrugged and they began to eat. In the middle of eating, Charlie popped the question that made Y/N shatter.

"Speaking of that night, what did Reaper mean by he wasn't sure you could die?" she asked, and Y/n choked on his drink. The question he had tried to avoid for his entirety of Hell, and yet here he was, faced with the same choice he had faced multiple times before and gave the same answer. Lie, or tell the truth. Both would hurt him, but this was Charlie. This girl that he liked, no loved because of her being her. With being with in a relationship as well he couldn't lie, well he could but it wouldn't work out in the long run. He was going to unravel the giant knot he had created sometime, and he reluctantly decided to start now.

"Well, it's complicated...." he began, pausing to figure out what to say. Start of with the worst, admitting he has killed hundreds of thousands, decimating a city, or start her of easy? He decided the second option, and began his verbal revelation. "Basically, when I got dragged here, R-" Y/N finally started to explain but was interrupted by someone else talking to him.

"Hey, don't I know you?" he said in a gruff voice, like he had smoked for his entire existence. Y/N looked at him and his face paled. The man he saw talking to him, the one who interrupted his confession, was one demon he had not expected to see again. He was from Sinville, from the day. He was the only survivor. The only one that had time to run. Y/N gulped as he gave an answer.

"Um, I think maybe, it was probably a while back. I've stayed in Pentagram City for most of my life here" Y/N responded nervously, hoping the demon wouldn't realize he was the monster that erased his family and city in a single hour. He hoped he wouldn't jump back and scream in freight, or kill him on the spot for revenge.

"Oh ok, I've been all around ever since my town was destroyed" he said, adjusting his shirt.

"I'm so sorry! What town was it?" Charlie said, and both the demon and Y/N got chills.

"Sinville" the survivor said, and Y/N about had a panic attack. He had thought of that name and got uncomfortable, but hearing it from a random civilian, no, the significant civilian that survived the wrath of Y/N triggered such fear in him he had never felt before.

"Oh, ok" Charlie said, not really remembering where or even that Sinville was a place.

"It will forever haunt me. There was that beast, causing a massacre. I fled immediately, and from afar was the worst thing I ever saw" he said, recalling the experience only two people alive knew to this day. Charlie was obviously intrigued, wondering what Overlord would destroy a town. Y/N squeezed his fist, digging his nails into his palm, almost to the point of making him bleed. "He had midnight black wings, and flew high above, before dive bombing into the city, causing a giant explosion. I covered my eyes and when they opened, there was nothing left, but the bodies" he finished in a shaky voice. Charlie was concerned but also trying to solve who this mysterious overlord was.

"We're sorry for all you have went through" Y/N said, having a deeper meaning behind his apology, but he knew the apology would not be enough, nothing would be enough to forgive himself for what he did. The survivor nodded before walking off to his own table and Charlie breathed.

"That was, interesting" she said. "You want to head back on that note?" she asked, slightly disturbed by the scarring story.

"Yeah" he said, relaxed for the first time in those minutes after seeing the survivor, and then they began to head back, after their eventful café date.

They got back to the hotel and besides the obvious interruption, the date went pretty well. They walked through the lobby, thankful for no teasing from a certain patron.

"Hey lovers, you ready to break that sexual tension?" Angel asked, leaning against the wall with a box of toys, ready for the taking.

Too soon.

"When the time comes Angel, when the times comes" Y/N said, as Charlie, who tried to hide her blush, and Y/N, who at this point was annoyed at any of Angel's jokes to him and Charlie.

"So like when, twenty minutes, an hour?" he asked, and Y/N flipped him off right before the doors shut and they went up to Charlie's room.

"You don't want to have sex yet, right?" he asked, and Charlie sighed.

"Yeah, not this early at least. Only after a few months. You?" she asked as they walked down the hall.

"Well, I may have not been the perfect Christian but I kind of instinctively decided to wait before I got married" he responded as they reached the end of the hall.

"Oh really? That's nice. Even though this is Hell, I want to get married, the idea of a wedding," she exhaled in happiness "It makes me happy" she finished the though of her dream. Then they both entered the room. Y/N was about to leave Charlie there, but she stopped him.

"You want to watch a movie?" she asked, and Y/N chuckled nervously.

"Why not?" he said, and he entered the room once again, closing the door behind him.

After watching a Voxflix original, Y/N noticed Charlie had fallen asleep. Then he looked around the room for the first time, to see why she had fallen asleep so quickly. Even though she had an office, she worked on stuff up here as well. Y/N sighed as he looked down at the sleeping princess hugging him. A smile grew as he enjoyed this. For the first time in a couple of hours, he felt truly happy. He greatly loved Charlie's embraced, and tried not to leave it as he turned off the TV, and adjusted his position for sleep. He let out a breath as he finally comfortable, ahead of him, only a few inches away was a sleeping beauty. Y/N quietly chuckled before kissing her on the nose and heading to sleep, both going to sleep happy. However with Y/N's luck, that would change.
