Chapter 10- family

Diana's POV
Daniel wanted me to hand out with him on Saturday at his place and I accepted. Knocking on the door I was met with Daniel's bright smile "Dee" he hugged me. "Sweetie who's at the door?" a silky voice asked and I saw a woman Daniel's green eyes but she had blonde hair. "Mom meet Diana my closest friend" Daniel gently shoved me forward "hi" I waved timidly.

"Aren't you the cutest thing!" she hugged me tight and screamed in my ear "what's your last name?" she asked as she let me go "Clark" I clenched my jaw trying to stop the tears. "Oh my, I didn't mean to upset you" she rubbed my arm. "It's just hard, so many bad memories, I was in a bad place" I cried and Daniel held me.

"Poo thing"'she cooed "Ana tell us what happened" Daniel cradled me and I froze. I can't tell them I didn't shift, they will treat me differently. "I was weak and an omega" I sobbed "they disowned me" I clutched onto Daniel who rocked me slowly. His mom gasped and pulled me into a hug "shhh, baby I got you" she stroked my hair softly.

"I've always wanted a girl" she admitted "after Daniel I couldn't have anymore kids" her voice was laced with sadness "my father will be home soon De do you wanna stay?" Daniel asked gently "yeah sorry about dropping this all on you" I laughed dryly and used my sleeve to wipe my tears.

"De that's what brothers are for right" Daniel smiled, over the last few weeks Daniel claimed me as his little sister. "Thank you buddy" I hugged him. I looked over at Mrs. Knight and tears threatened to fall. Just then I heard a door shut and a loud booming voice yell "Maria I'm home".

"In here Dean" she called back and sent me a mischievous smile. Oh lord what was she up to? A man with Daniel honey hair but aqua eyes emerged from the hall way and smiled lovingly at his wife "oh who's this?" a cocked his head to the side studying me. "Diana Clark" I smiled politely and wiped the rest of the tears off my face.

"Dean Knight" he reached a hand out for me to shake and timidly I shook his hand. "Dean I wanna adopt her" Maria blurted out her eyes wide "Maria are you sure" he glanced at me side ways "Dean she loves Daniel as a brother and he loves her back" she gestured to us, Daniel holding me.

"Let me talk to her first" she nodded eagerly and took Daniel out of the room leaving us sitting across from each other. "So Diana tell me,what made you come to Hawaii?" he leaned forward staring intensely at me. "My family disowned me, I was omega of my pack because I haven't shifted" I sniffled.

"What do you see if I where to ask you what you think about me?" he raised an eyebrow and I studied him. His hair was slightly messed up, his shouldered slumped from lack of sleep, he had cut knuckles from fights, and a bruise on his bicep. "I see a top warrior in a good pack, he works over time to provide for his family, he loves and cares deeply for his son and wife"'I rushed out my eyes turning to slits.

"And he always wanted a little girl" I finished observing him and my eyes widened as did his. He clapped stood up and pointed to me smiling like crazy "I like you" he grinned "um thanks?" I said confused.

"I wanna adopt you" he said serious and Maria and Daniel came back in "so will you let us adopt you?" Maria asked in a hopeful tone. I looked at Daniel and his eyes were wide with happiness 'say yes' he mouthed to me eagerly. "Yes" I nodded and Maria hugged me as well as Daniel and Dean.

"Welcome to the family" Daniel whispered in my ear and kissed my forehead.

This was my new family, and I wouldn't trade then for the world.

Ok so I don't remember Daniels last name so it's Knight now. And if his hair wasn't honey colored and his eyes weren't green then they are now!
