Chapter 14- amulet

Daniel's POV
Gingerly I picked up her phone between my teeth and carried it to the pack house. 'Come outside NOW!' I told Xale urgently and sat down. He stormed from the house irrational clear on his face "what" he snapped fury blazing in his eyes.

I gently placed her phone on the ground and laid on my stomach whining and covering my snout with my paws. Her blood was on my tongue "Daniel what's this?" Xale eyed her phone. 'Its Diana's phone' I whimpered an sent him a picture of the scene.

"I'm sorry Daniel, but there is nothing we can do" he murmured and turned his back walking away. I snarled loudly 'SHE GAVE YOU EVERYTHING! Do you even know how much she loved you? GOD DAMMIT XALE! SHE LOVED YOU' I screamed at him over pack link and I saw him freeze "how do you know?" he asked unsure.

'She told me' I got up off the floor and trotted into the woods.

He would regret this.

I know I do.

Diana's POV
It dark and cold. And I couldn't see but then a bright white light blinded me and I could see. Everywhere I looked it was white. But I wasn't alone. A woman who looked just like me flashed in. She wore a graceful pink and black dress. The top part was black while the bottom pink and puffy.

A powerful but soothing aura emitted off her in waves. "Who are you?" I asked my voice ringing out and clear. "I'm you" she giggled. Her voice sounded like Carmel and honey. So sweet and soft. "How?" I spluttered "Diana we are the chosen one" she laughed.

"We are next in line for Moon Goddess" she explained. "How! I'm only human" I murmured quietly to myself. "Honey you are so much more" she urged. "Take this" she waved her hand and a amulet dropped from the sky.

The amulet was a silver moon with carvings and a galaxy charm in the crescent moon.

"Take this, it holds great power" she held it out to me. "With this amulet you'll have the speed of a vampire, the hunting skills of a hunter, the personality of an angel, the wiseness of a watch, the strength of a wolf, and the cleverness of a demon" she smiled.

I walked to her in the same dress I now noticed and put my back to her. "I accept" I told her and I felt her place the silver necklace on my neck. "This will NEVER come off" she tapped the lock and turned me to face her.

"Where am I now?" I asked curiously. "I'll show you" she laughed slightly and waved her hand.

An image of us laying on an operating table with people above is working on what looked to be my back. "The rouge ruined your whole back and we lost tons of blood" she stated grimly "are we be ok?" I asked warily "yes, but we will have cold skin like. Vampire and barely a heart beat" she said sadly.

"Oh" I muttered defeated.

I just want to be happy!

"And you will be" she assured me "you must stay with these people Diana they can help you be happy again" she smiled gently "what about Daniel?" I asked sadly "maybe fate will allow you to see him again" she patted my arm.

"But now your stuck here in the middle between life and death" she smiled and disappeared like the wind broke her form and whisked her ashes away.

I'm next in line for the Moon Goddess.

And I'm the chosen one.

Plus my amulet which I touched with my now shaky hands.
