Diana's POV
My flight landed and I found a place to stay. Or well I'm staying with my cousin Tucker and his family that is. They live in a huge mansion but have a private beach house off pack lands, but on the edge of the border.
Get my drift?
The house was huge! And lonely but I had my own mini beach, which couldn't be better!
Maybe this change wouldn't be so bad after all.
Toby's POV
"Tobs, I'm sorry if your getting this message. It wasn't meant to be like this. I got tired of being treated like omega, and then my mate rejected me. I lost my marbles.
When you get this I'm long gone. I'm resetting my phone, you won't be able to reach me. Give mom and dad my love and I promise you this.
This will be the last time you see me.
Goodbye Tobias" her sweet voice whispered then the phone shut. The call broke my heart but Justin listened to it with me. "She's gone" he choked out "when I find that bastard I'll kill him" I yelled clenching my fists.
He gulped "I want my best men, trackers, and warriors on her scent" he ordered in Alpha tone.
Hang on Diana I'm coming.
Diana's POV
I run down the beach as fast as I can music blaring in my ears. When I crashed into someone I fell to the floor my blue tooth ear buds still intact but I turned off the music. "Excuse me" someone snapped.
"Like wise" I flashed the unknown man a smile and continued my jog. "Wait!" he griped my shoulder tight "do I know you?" I got a clear look at his face. Alpha Xale.
"Um no" I coughed "you look familiar" he gave me a crooked grin "I'll see you soon" I shrugged him off and made a dash for home. When he touched me I felt warm, and at home. I heard the pounding of foot steps behind me as I threw the door open getting sand everywhere.
My phone went off and I dove "Diana from IHOP can I take your order?" I chirped into the phone. "Oh sorry" Xale's voice whispered and was about to hang up. "That's what she said" and I hung up laughing. But the house seemed empty and cold.
I cooked a small dinner for myself and then went night swimming. I thought about everything I needed to do. Get in rolled in school. Make friends. Stay away from Xale. Get tattoos and piercings. And dye my hair!
I wanted a new beginning.
And that all started with me.
