"Here!" Camilia said. Kiro glanced around nervously.
"I don't like the looks of this place." He said.
"Oh, don't be such a baby. It's fine. Now, come on! We're almost there!" She replied, although she felt something was wrong too.Camilia hurried into a stone brick hallway. Kiro followed behind cautiously, his eyes darting around nervously.
"This way." Camilia said, pointing to a large iron door. She shoved it open and hurried down a long spiral staircase."Wait!" Kiro shouted. Camilia stopped just short of a pressure plate. She glanced down.
"That was close." She muttered. "But we have to keep going." She said, stepping over the pressure plate.A mechanical click sounded and a door opened to a large room. Camilia gasped. The room was filled to the brim with monsters of every kind. They all turned, anger and hatred in their eyes.
"Go!" Kiro shouted, shoving Camilia. She took off in a sprint."But what about you?" She shouted back.
"I'll hold them off." He said, slicing the head off a zombie. "Now, go!"
Camilia nodded and ran. She hurried through the dark hallways, her heart pounding. She hurried down a narrow staircase. She had to find it. Camilia stopped. Ahe could see a faint light at the end of the hall. She sprinted down the hallway. It ended in a small open room. Camilia gasped.
"The Portal!" Camilia yelled and ran towards it. She hurried up the stairs and stared down at the never ending blackness. Camilia took a deep breath.
"It's now or never." She said, taking a step, then plunging into the portal.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kiro pulled his enchanted diamond sword from it's sheath and faced the monsters.
"Bring it on." He glared at the crowd.
"Gladly." Said a skeleton. It notched an arrow and fired it. Kiro deflected it with the skill of a well trained swordsman. The skeleton stumbled back in surprise. It regained its composure, and pulled an iron sword from its own sheath.
"Attack!" It screeched in a horrible voice. Kiro knew he wouldn't be able to fight all of them off, but he could at least but Camilia some time.He rushed at the monsters, completely annihilating everything in his path. An arrow slammed into the back of his neck. He cried out in pain and fell to the floor as the world faded away.
