Chapter 20: A fierce Battle Unfolds!

Narrator: 

Last time we last saw our heroes, Max successfully found Ash who was still trapped under Team Flare's control. 

As Max tries to rescue his companion, he fell to a trap, but Ash and Max's surprise, Akuma, Bonnie and Serena came just in time with Pikachu and Charizard. 

Ash instruct Pikachu to use an old move that Bonnie never seen before: Volt Tackle . It worked, as Ash was freed, also stunned to learn that Akuma is his younger brother.

Lysandre sends out Entei as it hurts Akuma and Serena. Lysandre had enough playing around as he instructs the Pokemon to attack directly at Akuma and his Pokemon.

Ash jumped into action, as he shielded them both from being hurt. As though everything seems out of control, Alain, Clement and Brock had arrived, and Brock reveals to the group that he had received an Mega Stone and Key Stone and Mega Evolved his Onix, and thus making Akuma to make his Charizard Mega Evolve as well.

More determined than ever, Akuma declared to Lysandre that he has to face two Mega Evolved Pokemon. 

What will happen now, as to what the battle lead to?

Akuma

Finally, this battle is going well! I'm glad that Brock and I were able to fight together, as Alain said, "So... what is going on? Did we miss something while we were at Professor Sycamore's lab?"

Bonnie pulls Ash up, "It's kind of a long story, Alain. Max, we should get him to safety. Let Akuma handle this one with Brock. We don't have any Mega Stones and I think Akuma has some issues he wants to deal with personally." 

"Bonnie..." I said, being blushed at her statement. But she does have some solid point. Ash is in no condition to battle like this, and that blast could be more serious than we thought it would. 

I felt uneasy, but then Serena touches my shoulder. I looked at the Coordinator, as Serena said, "Leave this to us. We'll take care of Ash for you . Just be careful, ok, I mean it." 

Brock said, "We'll be fine, Ser. Besides, if Ash was awake, he wanted you to be safe at any cost, you're important to him, right? So, get moving!" 

I heisted, but I know that Brock had a good motive. If Ash was still here, he would continue fighting no matter how dangerous it would be.

Lysandre simply laughs at us. "How delightful. You honestly think you will win against me with two weak Pokemon by your side?

Oh, Akuma, you failed me as a trainer." 

"Oh, I had enough! Charizard!" I yelled, as my partner flew upward and I climbed into his back for support. 

Max looked impaled, but Bonnie slapped him, "Let's go!" 

"R-Right, Ralts, teleport us out of here!" He said, as I looked at Brock silently. 

"We'll win this battle. For everyone's sake. For Ash's." I thought. 

Serena

We got teleported into the Pokemon Center, which startled Nurse Joy. "Oh my! What's going on?" She asked. 

"It's an emergency, Nurse Joy. He's injured badly!" Max said, as Ash still remain unconious.

"We need to take him into the medical bay. " She stated in a urgent matter. 

The nurse took him to the medical bay, as we watched the poor trainer. Everyone sigh in total relief. 

"Wow. Talk about feeling uneasy there." Max said, as Bonnie was staring at the window. "Bonnie, what exactly happened back there, and why would you said that Akuma has to do this battle against Lysandre alone with Brock?"

"Yeah, I'm curious as well." Alain said, as Clement said, "Bonnie.. tell us everything you know. Please we're begging you." 

The young teen sighs, "Well the thing is.." 

"Huh?!!!!!!"

I said, gasping in shock, "Akuma is a clone of Ash created by Lysandre by using his DNA? " 

Alain said, "That is a lot to grasp my mind about it. I never imagined that is what Lysandre wanted to do once he had returned to this world. He truly hates Ash for what he has done." 

Clement conur, "Who wouldn't? I mean, having find out that you're related to a clone is a lot to process with. I hope that Akuma knows what he is doing." 

I said, "I know he'll be fine! If Akuma is Ash's little brother, I have no doubt that he'll make it though of it all. 

We have to believe in him, we have to , for Ash's sake. " 

Bonnie grins at me, "Awe, feeling so supportive because your boyfriend is here to support you, isn't?"

May looks at me, "You have a crush on Ash, since when?"

"B-Bonnie!" I exclaimed furiously at her of revealing it to them. 

As I was nervous at that, I couldn't help but thinking , is Akuma going to be fine, with Ash being in this state?

"Com'on, Akuma. I know you can do this." 

Ash

I was all alone. No one was in sight. "Hello? Anyone?" I yelled in the atmosphere. But no one reply back to me. 

"What's going on, what's happening?" I asked, as though, in the midst, someone approaching me.

I squint to see who the figure was, and to my horrific expression, it was one person I didn't want to see: 

The darkness version of me when I was possessed by the legendary Pokemon, Hoopa.

"Welcome to my realm, Ash Ketchum. I'm quite relieved you have come to the party." He said, as I said, "I thought I locked you away, inside Hoopa's bottle. This has to be some sort of nightmare." 

"Oh, I was always with you, Ash. You never seen me within you. I was always with you when you defended Kalos from Lysandre. 

Look at you now, being so weak, so pathetic, you were always alone." 

"Stop it! It's not true!" I screamed, as that the darkness was making jokes on me. 

"Hold it. If you were inside of me this whole time, what you want with me?" I asked. 

The darkness smiled at me, as he pulls out an familiar ball. I blinked with shock. Is he thinking about what I think he's doing?"

He threw his Pokeball, and it was a Pokemon in front of me, a dark version of Charizard, looking directly at me.

"You know what this means, don't you? You have to fight me in order to get out of this coma. Are you afraid to lose?"

I heisted, but then something flew in front of me. In my pure shock, it was my old friend, Pigeotto.

"No way." I exclaimed, as the bird type looks at me, as it seems to be ready to battle. "Are you here to help me?" 

The bird's eyes told me that it came to help, as all the memories I've spend with it, came flooding back, as I smiled at it.

"Ok, let's do it!" 

Narrator: 

It seems like two battles are taking place! Ash vs. himself, and Akuma and Brock vs. Lysandre.

Who would be victorious? Will Ash come out of his coma-like state?
