Chapter 7: Bonnie?!?

Ash

As I was in the Pokémon Battlefield, Max and May were watching from the sidelines.

"Go for it, Ash!" Max yelled in excitement.

My opponent is "B". He looked excited to see I was against him.

"It looks like we are going to keep our promise after all, Ketchum." He said.

I was totally confused of what he had meant. Did we meet each other before.

I looked at Pikachu and he was eager to battle with B.

"Pika." He said in total excitement.

"Pikachu, I choose you!" I said as Pikachu was in the battlefield.

B smiled as if he wanted Pikachu to come out into the battlefield.

"Come on out and use 25% form!" B said, threw a Pokémon and a green Pokémon appears in its place.

I was in utter shock, as if I was dreaming. It couldn't be what I think it is, can it?

Gary, Brock, May and Max were in total amazement.

"That is B's strongest Pokémon?!?" Gary asked, looking at the Pokémon.

Brock said, "Don't judge by appearances, Gary."

I yelled, "Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!"

"Dodge it!" B yells and the Pokémon obeyed.

Serena

Where is everyone? I decided to find May and Max. Then I saw Skitty runs towards a crowd of people.

"Oh, Skitty!" I groaned after the Cat Pokémon and picked up the Pokémon.

"Skitty, why you run off like that?" I asked her, then notices it look like a Pokémon battle was taking place.

That's when my heart skipped a beat. What I saw was Ash! Ash Ketchum is here in Hoenn! But how? I also noticed Tireno, but I didn't quite understand of how, but I sure am surprise.

He was up against an opponent and it never seems to surprise me one bit. He never change.

The Opponent had a Pokémon that looked familiar to me. Could it... no.

I looked at Ash's opponent more closely and then shake my head.

"Clever disguise... Bonnie."  I thought in my mind.

Bonnie said, "All right, go and use Double Team followed by Earthquake!"

Squishy did as instructed as Pikachu fell into the ground.

"Ah, Pikachu, get up!" Ash exclaimed.

Pikachu couldn't get up as if the attacks were too much for it to handle.

"Pikachu, don't give up!!!" I yelled.

Ash turns to see me.

"Whoa, Serena?!?"

Ash

I turned to the voice who called out to Pikachu. I couldn't believe who it was.

"Whoa, Serena?" I asked. How did she know I was here.

I turned to Pikachu, "Serena's right. You can't give up that easily."

Pikachu got up as B said, "I see Pikachu hasn't changed."

I yelled, "Pikachu run and use Iron Tail attack!"

The Pokémon seems to be surprised as Pikachu struck it down as B exclaimed, "No!"

The green Pokémon was exhausted and passed out.

"The Pokémon was unable to battle, so Ash is the winner of the match!" The announcer said.

I walked to B and said, "Thanks for the battle, B. It was amazing."

Serena said, "Ash!"

Pikachu run up to Serena and hugs the Coordinator.

"Hi, Ser. I guess that the secret is out." I said, blushing with embarrassment.

 Serena asks, "What you doing here? I thought that you were back home in Pallet Town."

I said, "Well... to be totally honest, the reason-"

"So, this is Serena huh?" Brock interrupted me of what I was going to say.

"Yeah. This is her. Serena, this is my old friend, Brock. He is a Pokémon Doctor. You remember Gary Oak, don't you?" I asked the Coordinator.

"Well, Oak Tree still hasn't changed." She smirks which mad Gary mad.

"Hey! Who you calling 'Oak Tree'?" He demanded.

Tireno said, "Serena! Wow, it's a while. Ash told me you're a Coordinator now. That's so cool. Wait until Trevor and Shauna hears about this!"

She blushes then B comes towards us.

Serena laughs, "There is no way you can fool me, B. or should say, "Bonnie?"

I looked at B as if I couldn't believe it.

"Bonnie?!?"

Narrator: Ash and "B" battled in the Pokémon Battle Club. As Ash didn't suspect that Serena was there, watching the battle and cheered him on.

After the battle,  Serena uncovers B's true identity!
