Chapter 10

      I get off the bike and follow the two boys to the place where we have to join the others. We finally arrive at the meeting place and I see a small group of men, wait...

- Me: "Miya ?!"
- Miya: "Sarah !"

     He runs to me and hugs me, he's so cute!

- Me: " What are you doing here? Aren't you a little young?"
- Miya: " I represent Japan in the world of skateboarding so i can skate. "
- Me: "Oh awesome! But still it's late for a child..."
- Miya: "I'm not a baby!"
- Me: "Okay, okay, sorry."

     I see that Reki and Langa have joined the group. I don't really dare come to greet them, all these men intimidate me a little... Langa looks at me, smiles and comes towards me, he puts his hand on my back to make me move while Miya take my hand.

- Langa: "This is Sarah, my childhood friend. Sarah, this is Cherry and Shadow."
- Me: "N-Nice to meet you."
- Cherry: "Is she the little one you were telling me about?"
- Joe: "Yep! How are you, princess?"
- Me: "Joe! I'm fine thank you. "
- Joe: "I see you're happy to see me, Cool !"
- Cherry: "She's the only one who's happy to se your ugly face."

      The two men began to quarrel. Shadow comes up to me, which makes me shivering, Langa puts his hand on my shoulder and tell me I have nothing to fear. He have a makeup... particular?

Shadow: "Hi! Sorry if I scared you..."
- Me: "Oh no don't worry! I'm very pleased to meet you."
- Shadow: " She's so polite ! "
- Me: " Is it a problem ? It's an habit... "
- Shadow: "Hahaha don't worry, it's not a problem. Your friend is funny Langa, she getting stressed so fast!"

      Langa laughs to make fun of me, this asshole... Cherry heads towards us followed by Joe, Miya and Reki.

- Cherry: "At least she's well-mannered! You two should take note!"

      He glance at Reki and Langa who avoids him haha.

- Cherry: " But You don't have to talk so politely."
- Me: "Okay..."
- Miya: "But how come you're here? Isn't that a little dangerous for a girl?"
- Me: "And it's not dangerous for a child?"
- Reki: "As long as she stays close to us there is no risk, same for you Miya."

      They start arguing about the fact that Reki talks about him like a baby which makes me laugh. Oh right!

- Me: "Joe, can I talk to you for a second?"
- Joe: "Sure."

     We stand aside and I feel Langa's gaze on me wondering why I want to talk to Joe.

- Me: "Uhh... I wanted to ask you a favor..."
- Joe: " Tell me. "
- Me: "I have been looking for a job for some time but I am being refused everywhere because I do not have a good Japanese accent. So I would like you to give me a chance... Just one day of trial and you will decide whether you keep me or not! Please..."
- Joe: "Let me think... Okay, come see me Monday!"
- Me: "Seriously? Just like that ? Thank you !"

     We go back to the others and I see that Langa is no longer there.

- Me: " Where is Langa?"
- Reki: "At the start line, we can see the race live on this screen!"

     I didn't know he was running a race today, cool ! I wonder why he thinks I would worry, these are normal races... No? The race begins and Langa is already going super fast! At the halfway point I see his opponents coming out with something...

- Me: "Why does he have an iron bar?!"
- Joe: "Here there are no rules, you can hit, drift, do everything to your opponent."
- Me: " Have there been people seriously injured?"
- Joe: " Yep..."
