Chapter 11

    It is lunch  time and I join the boys on the roof. When I arrive Reki is all alone.

- Me:  "Hey, Where is Langa ?"
- Reki: "Hi, another girl ask him to join her."
- Me:  "I see."

    He seems a little annoyed... I sit down and start eating my sandwich.

- Reki:  "Can I ask you something ?"
- Me: "Sure."
- Reki:  "Langa... Has he always been so popular ?"

     I nod and swallow what I have in my mouth so I can speak.

- Me: "All the girls wanted to go out with him. Most were even jealous of me what was understable, he is handsome."
- Reki:  "I see..."
- Me:  "Jealous ?"
- Reki:  " Of what ?"
- Me: " Of his popularity."
- Reki: "N-Not at all!"
- Me: "So because so many people want him ? Do you want him for yourself?"
- Reki: "N-No! Langa is just a friend..."
- Me: "Yeah sure, I'm going to pretend to believe you."

     He glares at me black and blushes.

- Reki: "What about you? Were you popular?"
- Me: "More or less. Several boys asked me out but I refused each of them."
- Reki: "You two are really the same..."
- Me: "Maybe."

     Langa finally come and seems exhausted.

- Me: " A lot of girl ask for you this week uh ?"
- Langa: " Don't talk about it... Uh? Why are you all red Reki? Are you okay ?"

He seems a little upset but try to hide it.

- Reki: "I'm fine. You're lucky to have so many girls interested in you haha!"
- Langa: "I would prefer not to have any..."
- Reki: "Don't say that! You know how many guys would want to be in your place?"
- Langa: "Are you upset ?"
- Reki: "No! I'm very happy you don't see ? Well, I have to go, bye!"
- Langa: "Uh?"
- Me: "Reki wait !"

    Too late, he's gone. Does he get so upset that Langa is successful with girls?

- Langa: "What's wrong with him? Did you say something to him?"
- Me: "He just asked me if we were popular in Canada."
- Langa: "Is that why he's in this state?"
- Me: "I don't know... Well we have to go back in class, lessons going to start. We can talk to him later."

...

    I'm on my way to go home from work, working with Joe is really fun! Reki  hase been avoiding  after our discussion on the roof, I wonder if it's because he's not really popular, which I don't understand by the way, he's cute. Or is it because all the girls want Langa ? I pass by a park with two swings and see a boy with red hair on one of them. Wouldn't that be Reki by any chance? I'm walking to see him.

- Me: "Reki?"
- Reki: "Uh? Oh Sarah! You scared me!"
- Me: "Sorry, is everything okay?"
- Reki: "Yes, why not?"

    He's lying. I sit on his swing and put my bag on the ground. I have to find the right words.

- Me: "You know you can tell me anything? If you have something on your mind, maybe I can help you?"
- Reki: "I don't know..."
- Me: "I don't want to force you to tell me anything but since our discussion on the roof you seem to be avoiding us... Did I say something wrong?"
- Reki: "N-Not at all! It's just that... I've been asking myself some questions for a few day..."
- Me: "Maybe I can help you?"

    He seems to hesitate a bit and then takes a deep breath.

- Reki: "I thought about a lot of things especially after you arrived..."
- Me: "Is this about Langa?"
- Reki: "Y-yes... You know since I've been friends with him I always thought he was super cool! He managed to learn tricks in a few days while I took several months to do them! He can speak several Languages and you too! And you are both popular while I..."
